The most exciting game of round 4 in the A League took place in Beograd. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Radnicki KG (2-2) to third ranked Zvezda (3-1) 82-81 on Thursday evening. Radnicki KG was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Center Rasko Katic (208-80, agency: Beo Basket) fired 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Forward Boris Savovic (210-87, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 16 points and 12 rebounds. American guard Terrico White (196-90, college: Mississippi) produced 22 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Zvezda moved-up to second place, which they share with Vojvodina and Mega Vizura. Radnicki KG at the other side keeps the fifth position with two games lost. Zvezda is looking forward to face Mega Vizura (#4) on the road in the next round. Radnicki KG will play against the league's second-placed Vojvodina in Novi Sad and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
Undefeated leader Partizan delivered the fourth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked Sloboda (1-3) 83-62 in Uzice. Worth to mention a great performance of Latvian Davis Bertans (203-92) who helped to win the game recording 23 points. Bogdan Bogdanovic contributed with 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Branko Andjic (201-82) replied with 19 points and 5 rebounds for Sloboda. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Partizan have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 4-0 record. Sloboda at the other side keeps the sixth place with three games lost. Partizan will play against Metalac (#8) in Valjevo in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sloboda will play on the road against Konstantin in Nis and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Metalac will play on the road against the league's leader Partizan (#1) in Beograd and looks forward to get finally their first victory.

The best stats of 4th round was 18 points and 15 rebounds by Dejan Buric of Tamis.

Vojvodina - Konstantin 73-52

Bottom-ranked Konstantin (0-4) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 73-52 loss to second ranked Vojvodina (3-1) in Novi Sad on Thursday evening. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. The game was mostly controlled by Vojvodina. Konstantin managed to win second period 16-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Vojvodina dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Konstantin's 28. They outrebounded Konstantin 36-22 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Montenegrin center Radomir Marojevic (207-81) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 5 rebounds and forward Stefan Stojacic (194-89, agency: Interperformances) who added 13 points during the contest. At the losing side forward Filip Pejovic (198, college: Erskine) responded with 4 points and 9 rebounds and guard Vladimir Velickovic (178-89) scored 9 points. Sloboda was better in fourth quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Sloboda 34-23 including 23 on the defensive glass.
