Another bad game for Crvena zvezda players, this time against Metalca from Valjevo. Metalac Koteks won in the game with 82:77 (16:18, 16:18, 24:18, 26:23).
Neither the change coaches that was done yesterday and rotation Vukoicic - Dejan Radonjic failed to team from Belgrade to win and they have recorded the second defeat in a row after the Mega defeat, have experienced another defeat away from home, this time in Valjevo from local team, Metalac and so came to the score of 3-3 and entering the second part of the competition and must be frantically struggled to top4 in order to fight for a place in the Adriatic League next season.
We remind you that Serbia to the national ratio that has made this year in the ABA league received the right to have four team in ABA league next season. Who won the fourth place in Serbian Super league this year will have to pay a registration fee of 150,000 euros if they want to participate in the regional league next year. As the first, second and third in the standings with a free passage to the regional competition.
In this first half we seen equalmatche, but in the second half and in the last quarter of game Metalac players played fantastic and even have a led at one point +18. At the end of the game Crvena zvezda hit a few threes in a row (the last 3p was one second before end of game), and yet so gentle defeat suffered and could have been a disaster.
Metalac was recorded first win in Serbian Super league and now have 1 win and 5 loses. Crvena zvezda have 3-3. In the next round Crvena zvezda will play against Vojvodina Srbijagas on 1. May and Metalac will play away with Konstantin.

Nemanja Todorovic (205-C/F-91) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked Borac, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 1 (Second Stage). The 25-year old player had a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Dynamic BG (#3, 0-1) 75-64. It allowed Borac to consolidate first place in the Serbian KLS. But it's just the very beginning of the Second Stage and Borac won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. It was one of impressive evenings for Todorovic as usually he does not deliver so high stats.
The second best player in last round's games was 32-year old Montenegrin Milko Bjelica (207-F/C-84, agency: BeoBasket) of Crvena Zvezda. Bjelica had a very good evening with 21 points and 3 rebounds. Of course he led Crvena Zvezda to another comfortable win outscoring Spartak (0-1) 89-54. His team has extremely good start of the Second Stage. They won their first game. However the Second Stage is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Bjelica is a newcomer at Crvena Zvezda, but is already one of team's top players.
Third on the list of top players last round was Australian forward Jonah Bolden (208-F-96) of FMP (#6). Bolden scored 20 points and grabbed ten rebounds. He was a key player of FMP, leading his team to a 90-70 easy win against Mega Leks (#8, 0-1). FMP has a very good start of the Second Stage. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Bolden also has a very good start of the Second Stage with very strong stats. The season just started for Bolden as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc. The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
