Nikola
Radojicic
Another interview from one Serbian player who played in a lot of countries and had a lot of experience. This is interview with Nikola Radojicic (196-G-86, agency: ProSportsCareers).

When you start to train basketball and why you decided to do that?
I start a 10 years ago and i decide for basketball because from the very and they tell me that i have a lot of talent and in that point i must decide between two sports and i choose the right one - basketball.

Has anyone in your family played "a game under hoops" and are you the first professional basketball player?
I am the only professional player in my family, my father played football but later had an injury, and my brother was in college in the States and finished 4 years of school via basketball.

You are Red Star child, according to my information you have been in Red Star from 2000 to 2004, you have 18 years and you grew up with Red Star, why they didn't give you right chance?
In Red Star was been great, phenomenal, i got everything. I was playing for '84 class, we are been second in Serbia and i was captain for my age. On Euroleague tournament i was selected for best playmaker on tournament while Rudy Fernandez was MVP. Why i didn't got the chance? That is a tough question, it was some sort of disagreement and i decide to my career continued in some other country.

Going abroad (Czech Republic), from your experience? A lot of you have traveled, what's your favorite destination where you play basketball, your favorite team, the greatest experience?
I have played in 10 countries in a short time, it could be said that all I was more than pleased with my games and the other thing but just the Czech Republic is the only country that is not complete full my expectation. That is a not pro club, they not focus on the result and they don't professionally thinking.

You played in the Adriatic League in season 2007/08 with Helios?
The Helios I played against a lot of clubs and of course that meant the most to me when playing against Red Star and Partizan, my best game was against Krka and FMP where I was for a short time reached double figures and led my team.

Do you have a desire to come back to Red Star, or at least to Serbian basketball?
Desire to come in Red Star still exists, now I'm in the best years for playing and desire is even greater, full of energy and of foreign experience, desire will always be there ...

What are your plans for the future, do you now have a club, some offers options?
It's always have offers, however, still is early though. I'm in that full training with coach and the club waiting for a call where I'll be back on the right track ..

Who is your favorite teammate and coach with you had the chance to cooperate?
Favorite player that I've played Darko Sokolov and Robert Troha from Heliosa.

If you had an offer from Serbia, would be returned to a club in the Super league?
I will return to Serbia but only in a club who has a ambition.

Toughest player with guarding against whom you play and who you gave the most trouble?
The most toughest player for guarding for me is Rudy Fernandez and Omar Cook.

What do you think will do our representation at Eurobasket in Slovenia?
I think that we will manage to go minimum to the semi-final at Eurobasket in Slovenia.

If I'm not mistaken, you have won the Slovakian Cup and Georgia?
Yes, it's true.

What is your biggest virtue?
Biggest virtue is my speed and game 1 on 1 and i like to create game.

On the supply side, do you have any particular wishes and special club where he would like to continue your career?
I would like to be back on Adriatic league or to go in Italy or Russia.

Nikola Radojicic was in best five in Syrian league, in Slovakia he was managed to won prize for second best foreign player. He was been best playmaker of Euroleague tournament for junior. MVP of Summer league in Pula last year. Junior champions of Serbia&Montenegro with Buducnost Podgorica. With Red Star he was on second place. He won Slovakian and Georgian cup and in Romania he was won third place.

I will like to thanks to Nikola for his time and for this interview.
