Miljan Radisavljevic (185-G-88) had an amazing evening in the last round for Borac and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 26.
The 24-year old guard had the game-high 31 points adding five assists for Borac in his team's victory, helping them to crush Sloga (#12, 9-17) with 22-point margin 99-77. Borac maintains the 8th position in Serbian A League. Borac is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 13-13 record. In the team's last game Radisavljevic had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Borac, through which he has constantly improved. Miljan Radisavljevic averages this season 7.2ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 28-year old Bosnia and Herzegovina guard Marko Popovic (193-G-84) of Sloga. Popovic impressed basketball fans with 29 points, 3 rebounds and 8 assists. Bad luck as Sloga lost that game 77-99 to the higher-ranked Borac (#8, 13-13). Sloga managed to keep the same 12th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 9-17 record. Popovic is a newcomer at Sloga and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.6ppg (#1). He also recorded 8.1 assists per game.

The third best performed player last round was Montenegrin Nemanja Radovic (206-F/C-91, agency: Beo Basket) of Vrsac (#6). Radovic showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, seven rebounds and five assists in the last round. He was a key player of Vrsac, leading his team to a 82-66 easy win against the lower-ranked Tamis (#10, 11-15). Vrsac needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 14 victories and 12 lost games. Radovic has a great season in Serbia. After 26 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.5ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 8.7rpg (2nd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Bojan Bakic (195-SG-83) of Metalac - 27 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Stanoje Knezevic (202-PF-89) of OKK Beograd - 18 points, 14 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Milorad Sutulovic (196-G-90) of OKK Beograd - 26 points and 2 rebounds
7. Nikola Kalinic (202-F-91) of Vojvodina - 18 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Nemanja Prolovic (188-G-87) of Borac - 14 points, 4 rebounds and 10 assists
9. Adam Mirkovic (199-G/F-91) of Jagodina - 22 points and 5 rebounds
10. Nikola Markovic (208-F/C-89) of Radnicki Basket - 21 points and 7 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

Todorovic number one in Serbia for round 1 - 17 hours ago
Nemanja Todorovic (205-C/F-91) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked Borac, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 1 (Second Stage). The 25-year old player had a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Dynamic BG (#3, 0-1) 75-64. It allowed Borac to consolidate first place in the Serbian KLS. But it's just the very beginning of the Second Stage and Borac won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the...   [read more]

Montenegrin Nikola Vujicic (185-G-89) had an amazing evening in the last round for Jagodina and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com 2MLS Player of the Week award for round 26. The 27-year old guard had a double-double of 30 points and twelve rebounds, while his team beat Boljevac (6-20) 93-88.
