Here is the weekly review of the top performing Serbian players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international power forward Nemanja Bjelica (209-88, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Spain), who plays in the Spanish ACB. He could not help one of league's weakest teams Caja Laboral (19-5) in their last game. Despite Bjelica's very good performance Caja Laboral lost 92-100 at home to the leading Real Madrid. He was the second best scorer with 19 points. Bjelica also added 5 rebounds in 25 minutes on the court. Bjelica has relatively good stats this year: 10.6ppg, 5.5rpg, 2FGP: 56.4%(44-78), 3FGP: 43.9% and FT: 68.2% in the 20 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Serbian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international point guard Milos Teodosic (195-87, currently plays in Russia). Teodosic led CSKA Moscow to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Lokomotiv (7-6) crushing them 83-56 in the Russian PBL last Sunday. He recorded 13 points and added 3 assists. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. CSKA Moscow (13-2) is placed first in the PBL. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Teodosic is currently third on the list of best passers. He has very reliable stats this season: 13.3ppg, 2.9rpg, 5.2apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 59.5%(22-37), 3FGP: 42.9% and FT: 92.9%(26-28). Teodosic is in the roster of the Serbian senior national team.

   #3. The Serbian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international power forward Dusko Savanovic (204-83, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Euroleague). He was the major contributor in a 3-point Anadolu Efes' victory against the eighth-ranked Brose Baskets Bamberg (0-11) 89-86 in the Euroleague on Thursday night. Savanovic scored 14 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 25 minutes. Anadolu Efes Istanbul (9-2) is placed first in group E. There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Top 16. So now every game is very crucial. This year Savanovic averages: 9.6ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.2apg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 45.9%, 3FGP: 32.7% and FT: 83.3% in the 21 games. He is also a member of the Serbian senior national team.

   #4. Center Nenad Krstic (212-83, currently plays in Euroleague) is a teammate of previously mentioned Milos Teodosic. But that was another game of his team in Euroleague which we would like to mention. Krstic contributed to a CSKA Moscow's victory against the sixth-ranked Zalgiris (4-7) 70-61. He scored 9 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 24 minutes. CSKA Moscow (8-3) is placed third in group E. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Krstic is ranked eighth on the list of the top scorers in the league with 13.7ppg. This year he also averages: 4.4rpg and 1.1apg in the 20 games. Krstic is also Serbian national team player.

Former University international power forward Tadija Dragicevic (206-86, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Ukraine), who plays in the Ukrainian Superleague was not able to help Azovmash (22-12) in their last game. Despite Dragicevic's very good performance Azovmash lost 83-88 on the road to the lower-ranked (#6) Cherkasy. He was the top scorer with 25 points in 30 minutes. This year Dragicevic's overall stats are: 9.7ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.8apg in the 33 games. He used to play for the Serbian university national team four years ago.

Power forward Dejan Borovnjak (207-86, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Poland) led Stelmet ZG to a 2-point victory against the fourth-ranked PGE Turow (0-1) 91-89 in the Polish TBL on Friday night. He recorded 18 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 29 minutes. Stelmet Zielona Gora (0-1) is placed fifth in Places 1-6 group. It's Borovnjak's first season with the team. This year Borovnjak has relatively solid stats: 14.6ppg, 6.9rpg and 1.6apg in the 10 games. He is a former university international player as he played for the Serbian team four years ago.

Former University international power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Ukraine) led Halychyna to a victory over the closely-ranked Mykolaiv (3-4) crushing them 91-69 in the Ukrainian Superleague last Friday. He was MVP of the game. Vukosavljevic had a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 12 rebounds in 27 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Politekhnika-Halychyna Lviv (22-14) is placed fourth in the Superleague. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. Vukosavljevic has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 16.4ppg, 10.1rpg and 1.1apg in the 36 games. Vukosavljevic used to play for the Serbian university national team six years ago.

Forward Ivan Radenovic (209-84, college: Arizona, currently plays in Ukraine) was the main contributor in a BC Donetsk's victory against the third-ranked Mykolaiv (3-4) 77-66 in the Ukrainian Superleague on Friday night. He was the best player in that game. Radenovic recorded 19 points. BC Donetsk (20-15) is placed seventh in the Superleague. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be extremely important. Radenovic's total stats this season are: 8.7ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.9apg. He used to play for the Serbian national team back in 2010.

International power forward Milan Macvan (205-89, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group, currently plays in Turkey) helped Galatasaray win their game against the closely-ranked Mersin (17-6) crushing them 95-68 in the Turkish TBL in Saturday night's game. Macvan recorded 6 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 25 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Galatasaray Medical Park Istanbul (19-3) is placed second in the TBL. It was his team's ninth consecutive victory in a row. This year Macvan's total stats are: 9.5ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.2apg in the 21 games. He is also in the roster of the Serbian national team.

Guard Dusan Katnic (193-89, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Belgium), who plays in the Belgian Ethias League was not able to secure a victory for Base Oostende (14-7) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the league leader Base Oostende lost 77-82 in Aalst to the lower-ranked (#3) Okapi ar. Katnic was the second best scorer with 15 points. He also added 6 rebounds in 22 minutes. Katnic has averaged so far 5.2ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.9apg in the 18 games. He is a former U20 international player as four years ago he still played for the Serbian national team.

   #11. International center Miroslav Raduljica (213-88, currently plays in Ukraine) is a teammate of previously mentioned Tadija Dragicevic and both played together in the last Ukrainian Superleague game. Raduljica, who plays in the Ukrainian Superleague couldn't help Azovmash (22-12) in their last game on Friday. Despite his good performance Azovmash was defeated 88-83 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked Cherkasy (#6). Raduljica scored 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Raduljica has reliable stats this season: 12.4ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.2apg. He plays currently for the Serbian national team.

   #12. Former University international center Dusko Bunic (206-89, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Adriatic League) helped his Montenegrin team Buducnost win their game against the league outsider KK Split 66-47 in the Adriatic League last Saturday. Bunic scored 9 points, had 9 rebounds and made 3 blocks in 27 minutes. Bunic has averaged so far 4.8ppg and 3.0rpg in the 25 games. He used to play for the Serbian university national team back in 2011.

   #13. Former U20 international power forward Djordje Majstorovic (209-90, currently plays in Slovenia) couldn't help Helios in their game against Zlatorog in the Slovenian Telemach League, despite his very good performance in Saturday night's game. Majstorovic was the top scorer with 18 points. He also added 9 rebounds in 27 minutes. But his team was edged 75-73. Majstorovic has averaged so far 7.7ppg and 4.9rpg in the 14 games. He used to play for the Serbian U20 national team three years ago.

   #14. International guard Mladen Jeremic (196-88, another player represented by Interperformances, currently plays in Italy) helped Trenkwalder RE win their game against the 14th-ranked Sutor Montegranaro 100-83 in the Italian SerieA on Sunday night. Jeremic recorded 13 points in 24 minutes. Jeremic has averaged so far 7.6ppg and 2.6rpg in the 22 games. He plays currently for the Serbian national team.

   #15. International point guard Nemanja Nedovic (191-91, currently plays in VTB United League) couldn't help Lietuvos rytas in their game against BC Donetsk in the VTB United League. Nedovic scored 6 points, made 7 passes and 3 steals. His team was badly defeated by 16 points 95-79. Nedovic averaged so far 10.1ppg, 2.3rpg, 2.6apg and 1.1spg. He is also in the roster of the Serbian national team.


The list of other players, who all have Serbian passport but never been selected to any of Serbian national teams:

   #1. Experienced Vanja Plisnic (207-F/C-80, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TBL could not help TED Kolejliler (11-11) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Plisnic's very good performance TED Kolejliler was defeated 94-86 at home by the second-ranked Galatasaray. He was the top scorer with 25 points. Plisnic also added 7 rebounds and made 2 blocks (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). This season Plisnic has relatively solid stats: 10.1ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.3apg.

   #2. Milko Bjelica (205-F/C-84, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Spain), who plays in the Spanish ACB was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Caja Laboral (19-5) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his good performance Caja Laboral was defeated 100-92 on their home court in Vitoria by the leading Real Madrid. Bjelica scored 13 points. Bjelica's overall stats this season are: 5.5ppg and 2.8rpg. He has a dual citizenship: Serbian and Montenegrin.

   #3. Marko Marinovic (183-PG-83, currently plays in Bulgaria) was the major contributor in a Levski Sofia's victory against the sixth-ranked Beroe (6-15) 91-83 in the Bulgarian NBL last Saturday. Marinovic recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and making 11 passes. He also added 4 rebounds. Levski Sofia (16-3) is placed second in the NBL. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Marinovic belongs to league's top scorers (ranked #8) and also on the list of best passers (fourth place). He has individually a very good season with high stats. Marinovic averages: 16.6ppg, 3.3rpg, 5.3apg and 1.6spg.

   #4. Jovo Stanojevic (208-C-77, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Turkey) is a teammate of previously mentioned Vanja Plisnic. But that was another game of his team in Turkish TBL which we would like to mention. Stanojevic was not able to secure a victory for TED Kolejliler (11-11) in their game against Antalya (5-17). Despite his very good performance in Saturday night's game He was the second best scorer with 18 points. Stanojevic also added 6 rebounds. Stanojevic is ranked third on the list of the top scorers in the league. This season he has very high stats. Stanojevic averages: 17.7ppg, 5.8rpg and 3.0apg.

   #5. Predrag Suput (200-F-77, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Adriatic League) led his Croatian team Cedevita to a 1-point victory against the closely-ranked Krka (9-15) 63-62 in the Adriatic League last Monday. Suput scored 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. KK Cedevita Zagreb (13-11) is placed sixth in the Adriatic League. It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses. There are only two games left until the end of the Adriatic League Regular Season. Suput has reliable stats this season: 10.3ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.1apg.

   #6. Marko Spica (205-C/F-86, college: Cent.Michigan, currently plays in Hungary) led Kaposvari to a victory over the third-ranked Atomeromu 102-84 in the Hungarian A Division on Saturday night. He was the top player that evening. Spica recorded 25 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists in 27 minutes. Spica is ranked first on the list of the top scorers in the league with 20.8ppg. This year his other stats are: 7.2rpg, 1.9apg and 1.4spg in the 22 games he played so far.

   #7. Vladimir Micov (201-F-85, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Euroleague) contributed to a CSKA Moscow's victory against the sixth-ranked Zalgiris 70-61 in the Euroleague in Friday night's game. Micov scored 6 points. He has averaged so far 7.8ppg, 2.8rpg and 1.7apg.

   #8. Dusan Milosevic (198-G-90, agency: BeoExcell, currently plays in Montenegro) was the main contributor in Ulcinj's victory against the ninth-ranked Ibar Rozaje 89-74 in the Montenegrin 1A last Saturday. Milosevic was the top player that evening. He recorded 33 points (!!!) and had 3 steals in 33 minutes. Milosevic is currently third on the list of top scorers with 18.6ppg. This year he also averages: 4.8rpg, 1.9apg and 1.4spg in the 16 games.

   #9. Vladimir Golubovic (213-C-86, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Turkey) faced previously mentioned Jovo Stanojevic in the Turkish TBL last game. Golubovic helped Antalya win their game against the seventh-ranked TED Kolejliler 100-93. He recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points and getting 11 rebounds. It was his first game for Antalya this season. Golubovic is another player who holds two passports: Montenegrin and Serbian.

   #10. Dusan Sakota (209-SF-86, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Italy) helped Cimberio Varese win their game against the league outsider Angelico Biella 92-82 in the Italian SerieA last Sunday. Sakota recorded 11 points. Sakota has averaged so far 6.5ppg and 2.3rpg. He has both Serbian and Greek nationalities. Despite Sakota's Serbian passport, he previously played for the Greek U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Serbian team.

KLS Round 10: FMP is defeated by Crvena Zvezda in a derby game - 10 hours ago
The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Beograd: Crvena Zvezda (#1) and FMP (#3). Crvena Zvezda (9-1) won against visiting FMP (6-4) 77-69. FMP trailed by 15 points after 3 quarters before a 27-20 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 69-77 at the end of the game. Crvena Zvezda made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Crvena Zvezda had a 29-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. 20-year old Alpha Kaba (209-C/F-96, agency: BeoBasket) had a great game in the last round for Mega Leks and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 9 (Second Stage). He had a double-double of 23 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat Borac (#6, 3-6) 84-70. Mega Leks maintains the 4th position in Serbian league.
