Here is the weekly review of the top performing Serbian players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is former international forward Sonja Petrovic (189-89, currently plays in Russia). She led Spartak Vidnoye to a victory over the eighth-ranked Spartak Noginsk (4-12) crushing them 81-40 in the Russian PBL in Wednesday night's game. Petrovic was MVP of the game. She scored 13 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 29 minutes on the court. Spartak Vidnoe Moscow Region (12-4) is placed second in the PBL. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Petrovic averages: 6.8ppg, 3.9rpg, 2.2apg, 1.6spg, 2FGP: 36.5%, 3FGP: 55.0%(11-20) and FT: 68.0% in the 13 games she played so far. She played for the Serbian senior national team two years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to former international forward Jovana Rad (187-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in France), who plays in the French LFB. Rad could not help Tarbes (12-10) to beat Bourges (18-4). She scored 9 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. But Tarbes was defeated 61-48 at home by the second-ranked Bourges. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Rad has relatively good stats this season: 12.1ppg, 4.2rpg, 1.1apg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 50.4%, 3FGP: 31.8% and FT: 75.3%. She played for the Serbian national team in 2011.

   #3. The Serbian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international guard Milica Ivanovic (175-88, agency: Interperformances, college: Catawba, currently plays in Romania). Ivanovic was the major contributor in Sf.Gheorghe's victory against the closely-ranked Targu Mures (19-7) 97-81 in the Romanian Liga Nationala on Saturday night. She scored 20 points in 32 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Ivanovic's second season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. BC Sepsi SIC Sfantu Gheorghe (18-5) is placed fourth in the Liga Nationala. It was her team's eighth consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. It's Ivanovic's first year with the team. Ivanovic is currently eighth on the list of top scorers with 15.6ppg. This year her other stats are: 2.8rpg, 2.0apg, 1.6spg, 2FGP: 49.2%, 3FGP: 44.8% and FT: 73.2% in the 23 games. Ivanovic is also a member of the Serbian senior national team.

Guard Latinka Dusanic (178-90, currently plays in Adriatic League) was the main contributor in PEAC-PECS's victory against the closely-ranked Vojvodina (14-6) 79-74 in the Adriatic League in Sunday night's game. She was the best player in that game. Dusanic recorded 17 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. PEAC-PECS (14-6) is placed third in group T. Dusanic's overall stats this season are: 6.1ppg and 3.3rpg. She used to play for the Serbian national team back in 2011.

Former international guard Maja Miljkovic (175-88, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in Romania) contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Timisoara (17-9) crushing them 93-55 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Saturday. She scored 6 points and added 6 passes. CSM Targoviste (22-1) is placed first in the Liga Nationala. It was her team's 16th consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. It's Miljkovic's first season with the team. Miljkovic's overall stats this year are: 5.8ppg, 1.8rpg, 2.7apg and 1.1spg. She used to play for the Serbian national team two years ago.

   #6. Guard Sanja Orozovic (183-90, currently plays in Slovenia) contributed to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked Ilrija (10-8) crushing them 91-68 in the Slovenian SKL on Saturday night. Orozovic scored 7 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 21 minutes. ZKK Athlete Celje (17-1) is placed first in Places 1-6 group. Orozovic belongs to league's top scorers (ranked #6) and also on the list of best rebounders (fifth place). She has individually a very good year with high stats. Orozovic averages: 16.7ppg, 7.9rpg, 2.5apg and 2.1spg in the 14 games. She is a former international player as she played for the Serbian senior team two years ago.

   #7. An experienced former international forward Monika Veselovski (183-77, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian A1 was not able to help Priolo (7-10) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Veselovski's good performance Priolo was defeated 76-61 on the road by the leading Familia Schio. She scored 12 points and added 4 passes. Veselovski's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. This season Veselovski has relatively solid stats: 11.3ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.7apg and 1.5spg. She used to play for the Serbian national team six years ago.

Center Tijana Ajdukovic (195-91, agency: Regeneracom Sports, currently plays in Italy) contributed to Parma's victory against the closely-ranked Taranto (11-5) 67-60 in the Italian A1 last Sunday. Ajdukovic scored 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 20 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Lavezzini Parma (12-4) is placed third in the A1. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. This year Ajdukovic's overall stats are: 5.9ppg and 4.8rpg in the 17 games. She plays currently for the Serbian national team.

Eric, who plays in the Italian A1 was not able to secure a victory for Priolo (7-10) in their last game. Despite her good performance Priolo lost 61-76 in Schio to the leading Familia. Eric was the second best scorer with 12 points. She also added made 3 passes and 3 steals in 29 minutes. Eric has reliable stats this year: 10.6ppg, 1.9rpg, 2.7apg and 2.2spg in the 18 games. She used to play for the Serbian national team three years ago.

Guard Jovana Vukoje (174-86, currently plays in Romania) contributed to a 1-point Alba Iulia's victory against the closely-ranked Alexandria (15-9) 63-62 in the Romanian Liga Nationala in Friday night's game. Vukoje scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. CSU Alba Iulia (17-7) is placed fifth in the Liga Nationala. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. Vukoje's total stats this season are: 8.3ppg, 2.6rpg, 2.8apg and 1.8spg. She is a former international player as three years ago she still played for the Serbian senior national team.

   #11. Former University international guard Maja Scekic (169-87, currently plays in Hungary) contributed to a 1-point Atomeromu's victory against the fifth-ranked BSE-FCSM 74-73 in the Hungarian A Division last Wednesday. Scekic recorded 12 points (made all of her six free throws) in 21 minutes. Scekic averaged so far 12.4ppg, 3.2rpg, 2.8apg and 1.6spg in the 25 games. She used to play for the Serbian university national team four years ago.

   #12. Former University international guard Tamara Bajic (172-87, currently plays in Romania) contributed to an Sp.Studentesc's surprising victory against the league leader Oradea crushing them 80-52 in the Romanian Liga Nationala on Monday night. Bajic scored 13 points, made 3 passes and 4 steals. Bajic averaged so far 12.4ppg, 4.2rpg and 4.4apg. She used to play for the Serbian university national team back in 2009.

   #13. Former international center Zorica Mitov (189-87, currently plays in Romania) couldn't help Craiova in their game against Brasov in the Romanian Liga Nationala. Despite her good performance last Saturday Mitov recorded a double-double by scoring 10 points and getting 11 rebounds. Mitov averaged so far 12.6ppg, 8.1rpg, 1.2apg and 1.4spg. She used to play for the Serbian national team five years ago.

   #14. U20 international forward Maja Vucurovic (188-91, currently plays in Belgium) managed to help Declercq Stortbeton Waregem in a victory against the ninth-ranked Tulikivi 75-62 in the Belgian Division I on Saturday night. Vucurovic recorded 5 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 15 minutes. Vucurovic belongs to league's best rebounders and is ranked #7 with 7.5rpg. This year her other stats are: 11.6ppg and 1.1apg in the 17 games. Vucurovic plays currently for the Serbian U20 national team.

   #15. Former U20 international power forward Nina Djokovic (184-87, college: Bethel, TN, currently plays in Romania) faced previously mentioned Zorica Mitov in the Romanian Liga Nationala last game. Djokovic contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Craiova 70-55. She scored 9 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Djokovic averaged so far 12.3ppg, 6.2rpg, 1.7apg and 1.2spg. She used to play for the Serbian U20 national team six years ago.


The list of other players, who all have Serbian passport but never been selected to any of Serbian national teams:

   #1. Sonja Maric (185-F-85, currently plays in Romania), who plays in the Romanian Liga Nationala could not help Timisoara (12-11) in their last game. Despite Maric's very good performance Timisoara was crushed 93-55 on the road by the leading CSM Targoviste. She was the top scorer with 22 points. Maric also added 5 rebounds in 37 minutes. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Maric has relatively solid stats: 10.2ppg and 4.1rpg in the nine games she played so far.

   #2. Vladinka Erak (190-C-84, currently plays in Romania) led Sp.Studentesc to a surprising victory over the league leader Oradea (21-5) crushing them 80-52 in the Romanian Liga Nationala on Monday night. She was the top player that evening. Erak recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 12 rebounds. CSM Sportul Studentesc Bucuresti (10-13) is placed ninth in the Liga Nationala. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. It's Erak's first season with the team. This year she has relatively solid stats: 10.6ppg and 7.8rpg.

   #3. Experienced Suzana Milovanovic (185-F-79, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in Romania) contributed to an easy victory against the league leader Oradea (21-5) crushing them 103-28 in the Romanian Liga Nationala in Saturday night's game. Milovanovic scored 10 points, grabbed 4 boards, dished 3 assists and stole 3 balls in 30 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. BC ICIM Arad (22-2) is placed second in the Liga Nationala. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. This year Milovanovic's overall stats are: 8.8ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.7apg and 1.1spg in the 23 games.

   #4. Marija Micovic (187-F-82, agency: Players Group, currently plays in Italy) led Irpino to an easy victory against the 11th-ranked Viterbo (5-17) crushing them 84-46 in the Italian A2 (12th division) on Sunday night. Micovic scored 15 points, had 9 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Gruppo L.P.A. Ariano Irpino (9-13) is placed ninth in South group. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. Micovic has reliable stats this season: 13.2ppg, 7.7rpg and 1.1spg. She has a dual citizenship: Serbian and Italian.

   #5. Tijana Raca (184-SG-97, currently plays in Greece) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Panionios (15-4) crushing them 90-32 in the Greek A1 last Saturday. Raca scored 9 points. It was his first game for PAOK this season. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Her team is placed fourth in the A1. It was PAOK's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. Raca is another player who holds two passports: Serbian and Cypriot. Despite her Serbian nationality, Raca currently plays for the Cypriot U16 national team and is not eligible to play for the Serbian team.

   #6. Marija Prlja (163-G-87, currently plays in Romania), who plays in the Romanian Liga Nationala was not able to help Craiova (19-7) in their last game. Despite her very good performance Craiova lost 55-70 at home to the lower-ranked (#8) Brasov. Prlja was the second best scorer with 18 points in 30 minutes. Prlja is currently sixth on the list of best passers with 4.1apg. This year her other stats are: 11.1ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.7spg in the 24 games.

   #7. Milica Micovic (182-G-84, also represented by Players Group, currently plays in Italy) contributed to an easy victory against the 12th-ranked College Italia crushing them 81-40 in the Italian A2 (12th division) in Sunday night's game. Micovic scored 8 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 24 minutes. Micovic averaged so far 11.2ppg, 4.9rpg and 1.4spg in the 23 games. She has both Serbian and Italian nationalities.

   #8. Bojana Vulic (191-PF-84, currently plays in Turkey) was not able to secure a victory for Canik Bld in their game against Besiktas in the Turkish TKBL. Vulic recorded 5 points. Her team was defeated 73-59. Vulic's total stats this season are: 7.7ppg, 3.9rpg and 1.1spg.

   #9. Ana Vuksic (188-C-81, currently plays in Romania) is a teammate of previously mentioned Sonja Maric and both played together in the last Romanian Liga Nationala game. Vuksic couldn't help Timisoara in their game against CSM Targoviste. She cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. Vuksic scored only 2 points in 11 minutes. Her team was crushed by 38 points 93-55. This year her total stats are: 2.6ppg and 2.6rpg in the nine games.

   #10. Julijana Kancevic (168-G-86, currently plays in Germany) couldn't help Bad Aibling in their game against BasCats Heidelberg in the German 2.Bundesliga (12th division). Kancevic cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. She scored only 2 points. Her team was defeated 73-65. Kancevic's total stats this season are: 4.9ppg, 3.7rpg and 1.4apg.
