We bring you last week's top performances from Slovakians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Anton Gavel
Anton Gavel
#1. This week's number one is an international point guard Anton Gavel (188-84, agency: Pro One Sports, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German BBL. He could not help Brose Baskets Bamberg (21-4) in their last game. Despite Gavel's very good performance the league leader Brose Baskets Bamberg lost 97-104 on the road to the much lower-ranked (#12) Phoenix Hagen. He was the top scorer with 28 points. Gavel also added 4 passes in 37 minutes on the court. It's Gavel's fourth season with the team. He belongs to league's top scorers and is ranked #9 with 14.1ppg. Gavel also averaged so far 2.8rpg, 3.1apg, 2FGP: 60.7%(65-107), 3FGP: 45.5%(46-101) and FT: 82.6% in the 23 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Slovakian and German. Gavel is currently a member of the Slovakian senior national team.

Dusan Pandula
Dusan Pandula
#2. Second place goes to an international small forward Dusan Pandula (196-84, currently plays in Czech Republic). He contributed to a BK Prostejov's victory against the sixth-ranked BC Kolin (15-13) 84-72 in the Czech Republic NBL on Saturday night. Pandula had a double-double by scoring 10 points and getting the same number of rebounds in 32 minutes. BK Prostejov (18-10) is placed third in Group A1. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Pandula has relatively good stats this year: 12.4ppg, 4.6rpg, 2.5apg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 62.2%(89-143), 3FGP: 41.2% and FT: 76.2% in the 28 games. He is in the roster of the Slovakian senior national team.

Roman Marko
Roman Marko
#3. The Slovakian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international shooting guard Roman Marko (194-86, currently plays in Czech Republic) is a teammate of previously mentioned Dusan Pandula and both played together in the last Czech Republic NBL game. Marko helped BK Prostejov win their game against the sixth-ranked BC Kolin (15-13) 84-72. He scored 6 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 6 assists. This season Marko averages: 9.1ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.5apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 48.3%, 3FGP: 31.4% and FT: 65.2%. He is another player who holds two passports: Slovakian and Czech Republic. This year he also averages: 5.3ppg and 5.2rpg in the 31 games. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
