Marie Ruzickova
#1. This week's number one is former international center Marie Ruzickova (189-86, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in Italy). She led Lucca to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Orvieto (3-14) crushing them 62-39 in the Italian A1 in Sunday night's game. Ruzickova was MVP of the game. She scored 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 30 minutes on the court. Gesam Gas Le Mura Lucca (14-3) is placed second in the A1. It was her team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Ruzickova has relatively good stats this year: 11.6ppg, 7.6rpg, 2.4spg, 2FGP: 45.2% and FT: 69.2% in the 18 games she played so far. She played for the Slovakian senior national team five years ago.
