We bring you last week's top performances from Slovakians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Radoslav Rancik
Radoslav Rancik
#1. This week's number one is an experienced former international power forward Radoslav Rancik (207-79, agency: Beo Basket, college: St.Cloud St., currently plays in VTB United League), who plays in Czech Republic. He could not help CEZ Nymburk (5-10) in their last game. Despite Rancik's very good performance the seventh-placed CEZ Nymburk lost 84-90 at home to the leading Zalgiris in the group B of VTB United League. He was the top scorer with 20 points in 25 minutes on the court. There are only three games left until the end of the VTB United League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Rancik's first season with the team. Rancik is currently ninth on the list of top scorers with 14.8ppg. He also averaged so far 4.4rpg, 3FGP: 41.3% and FT: 76.5% in the 12 games he played so far. Former BK Inter Bratislava starter played for the Slovakian senior national team three years ago.

Justin Sedlak
Justin Sedlak
#2. Second place goes to former international power forward Justin Sedlak (205-87, college: Florida Tech, currently plays in Sweden). Sedlak led Solna Vikings to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Nassjo (7-26) crushing them 97-63 in the Swedish Basketligan last Tuesday. He was MVP of the game. Sedlak scored 24 points and grabbed 6 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. Solna Vikings (20-13) is placed sixth in the Basketligan. Sedlak's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. Sedlak has relatively good stats this season: 12.6ppg, 5.4rpg, 2FGP: 61.3%(138-225), 3FGP: 36.7% and FT: 73.1%. He played for the Slovakian national team in 2010.

Anton Gavel
Anton Gavel
#3. The Slovakian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international point guard Anton Gavel (188-84, agency: Pro One Sports, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German BBL. Gavel was not able to help Brose Baskets Bamberg (21-3) in their last game. Despite his good performance the league leader Brose Baskets Bamberg lost 71-85 on the road to the second-ranked Bayern Muenchen. Gavel was the second best scorer with 11 points in 31 minutes. They ended the series of eleven consecutive victories. Gavel is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Brose Baskets Bamberg's roster. This season he has relatively solid stats: 13.5ppg, 2.8rpg, 3.1apg, 2FGP: 61.4%(62-101), 3FGP: 44.0% and FT: 81.5% in the 22 games. Gavel has a dual citizenship: Slovakian and German. He is also a member of the Slovakian senior national team.

Roman Marko

Shooting guard Roman Marko (194-86, currently plays in Czech Republic) was the main contributor in a BK Prostejov's victory against the fifth-ranked BK Decin (16-12) crushing them 101-68 in the Czech Republic NBL in Thursday night's game. Marko was the best player in that game. He recorded 19 points and grabbed 5 rebounds (made all of his six free throws). BK Prostejov (17-10) is placed fourth in Group A1. Marko's overall stats this season are: 9.2ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.4apg and 1.3spg. He is another player who holds two passports: Slovakian and Czech Republic. Marko is also Slovakian national team player.

Dusan Pandula
Dusan Pandula
#5. International small forward Dusan Pandula (196-84, currently plays in Czech Republic) is a teammate of previously mentioned Roman Marko and both played together in the last Czech Republic NBL game. Pandula contributed to an easy victory against the fifth-ranked BK Decin (16-12) crushing them 101-68. He recorded 13 points. Pandula has reliable stats this season: 12.5ppg, 4.4rpg, 2.6apg and 1.3spg. He plays currently for the Slovakian national team.

He recorded 6 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in 16 minutes. BK Breda & Weinstein Opava (10-20) is placed fourth in Group A2. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Miklosik belongs to league's best blockers and is ranked #5 with 1.0bpg. He also averaged so far 5.3ppg and 5.2rpg in the 29 games. Worth to mention Miklosik played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball. Miklosik is a former international player as he played for the Slovakian senior team three years ago.

He recorded 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Basketbal Svitavy (#5) was defeated 92-78 in Usti nad Labem by the lower-ranked BK Usti nad Labem (#7) in the Group A2. It was Basketbal Svitavy's fifth consecutive loss in a row. Sykora's overall stats this season are: 6.6ppg and 3.9rpg. He is also Slovakian national team player.
