Anja Klavzar
Former international forward Anja Klavzar (177-F-90) had a great game in the last round for Ilrija and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 4 (Second Stage).
The 22-year old forward had a double-double of 11 points and fourteen rebounds, while her team beat Jezica (#6, 6-14) 67-59. Ilrija maintains the 4th position in Slovenian SKL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier in Second Stage. Ilrija will need more victories to improve their 12-8 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Klavzar as usually she does not deliver so high stats. Klavzar has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 8.1rpg) and averages solid 2.8spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Bosnia and Herzegovina center Marica Gajic (187-C-95) of league's best team Athlete Celje. Gajic impressed basketball fans with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course she lead Athlete Celje to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Grosuplje (#3, 14-6) 81-53. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Places 1-6. Athlete Celje consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. Her team belongs to top of the standings with 19-1 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Gajic is well-known by Athlete Celje fans and she already established her position as one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Spanish Helena Boada (174-G-87, agency: Regeneracom Sports) of Domzale (#5). Boada showcased her all-around game by recording 18 points, nine rebounds and four assists in the last round. Despite Boada's great performance Domzale lost 58-84 to the higher-ranked Triglav (#2, 17-3). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Domzale not to end season at such low position in Places 1-6, however are less than slim as they have already lost 14 games, recording just six victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Boada could try to bring Domzale's a little bit higher in the standings. Boada has individually a great season in Slovenia. After 15 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 25.5ppg (best scorer) and assists with 3.9apg (2nd best). She also has 4.1spg and FGP: 53.5%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Marusa Furman (184-F-86) of GVT Konjice - 9 points and 12 rebounds
5. Tjasa Gortnar (183-F-92) of Triglav - 19 points and 3 rebounds
6. Eva Lisec (190-C-95) of Athlete Celje - 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists
7. Katja Klancnik (175-F-90) of GVT Konjice - 17 points and 10 rebounds
8. Neja Klancnik (161-G-89) of GVT Konjice - 8 points and 14 rebounds
9. Matea Tavic (178-G-92) of Ilrija - 14 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Bojana Duric (174-G-91) of Triglav - 17 points and 8 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
