Summary of the case: The Slovenian agency ProStep Sport Agency filed a claim against the Russian player Vitaliy Fridzon (195-G-85, agency: Alti Sport) for outstanding agent fees. The agency requested full payment of its fees for the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 seasons, submitting that by terminating the agency agreement without just cause the player had breached the agreement. In his answer, the player argued that at the time of signing the agency agreement he was not aware that under the employment contract with his club he was not allowed to enter into any agency agreement. The Arbitrator decided to partially uphold the claim, inter alia dismissing requests from both parties to impose fines or other sanctions on the respective other party.
