A new coach made all the difference for Elektra, at least for one game. Elektra had four scorers in double figures as they snapped their five game losing streak and made Rajko Rituper's coaching debut a success by beating Grosuplje 78-68 on the road.
Grosuplje-Elektra 68-78: The game saw just one lead change, which came midway through the opening quarter. At that point, Mensud Julevic (200-PF-85) hit a pair of free throws for a two-point Elektra's lead, 15-13. The visiting team extended their lead to 28-17. Grosuplje cut the deficit to one 59-69, midway through the final quarter, but Elektra went on a 9-0 run to push its advantage to 72-61 with 2:30 remaining. David Collins (213-C-85, college: Bradley) had 16 points and 12 rebounds, Mensud Julevic scored 15 points, Ziga Zagorc (184-PG-84) 13 and Andrej Podvrsnik (186-G-87) 11. Grosuplje was led by Sasa Zagorac (205-F/C-84) with 21 points and 11 rebounds, Igor Tratnik (206-C/F-89) posted 11 points and Marko Antonijevic (189-G-81, agency: Court Side) handed out 7 assists.
Rogaska Crystal-Slovan 56-73: Rogaska erased a 10-point deficit, 22-32, to tie the score at 46 latein the third quarter. Slovan responded with a 13-2 run to go up 59-48 and grabbed its fifth straight win. Stipe Modric (206-F-79) led all scorers with 16 points for Slovan, Luka Grum (194-F-92, agency: Kotnik Sports Agency) added 13 and both came off the bench. Dejan Mlakar (192-G-88, agency: Global Sports Plaza) posted 12 points and Milos Paravinja (212-C/F-79) 11. Rogaska was led by Boban Tomic (190-G-88, agency: Alti Sport) with his 11 points and Milos Miljkovic (204-F/C-84) poured in 10 points.
Hopsi-LTH Castings Mercator 83-72: Hopsi, who never trailed, opened the game with a 22-7 run and cruised to a comfortable win.
