Here is the weekly review of the top performing Slovenian players, who play currently abroad.

Martina Dover

   #1. This week's number one is an international guard Martina Dover (177-86, currently plays in Croatia). She led Gospic to an easy victory against the league outsider ZKK Agram (0-19) crushing them 90-40 in the Croatian A1 in Saturday night's game. Dover recorded 12 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 steals in 29 minutes on the court. Gospic Croatia Osiguranje (18-1) is placed first in the A1. It was her team's 17th consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Dover has relatively good stats this year: 10.7ppg, 5.1rpg, 2.3apg, 2.5spg, 2FGP: 49.5%, 3FGP: 37.2% and FT: 73.9% in the 18 games she played so far. She is currently a member of the Slovenian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international point guard Nika Baric (169-92, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Russia. Baric could not help Spartak Vidnoye (1-2) to beat Bourges (2-1). She scored 8 points. The third-placed Spartak Vidnoye was defeated 71-64 on the road by the second-ranked Bourges in the group B of Euroleague. This season Baric averages: 4.8ppg, 1.9apg, 2FGP: 48.9%, 3FGP: 25.0% and FT: 95.0%(19-20). She is in the roster of the Slovenian senior national team.

   #3. The Slovenian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international guard Katarina Ristic (174-84, currently plays in Sweden). Ristic led Solna Vikings to a victory over the second-ranked Northland (4-2) 70-54 in the Swedish Damligan on Saturday night. She was MVP of the game. Ristic scored 20 points and added 5 assists in 27 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in Group 1. Solna Vikings (4-2) is placed third. This year Ristic has relatively solid stats: 10.8ppg, 2.3rpg, 4.2apg, 2.0spg, 2FGP: 47.1%, 3FGP: 33.3% and FT: 79.3% in the 11 games. She played for the Slovenian national team two years ago.

   #4. Power forward Eva Komplet (182-86, currently plays in Croatia) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Ragusa (5-14) crushing them 96-59 in the Croatian A1 in Saturday night's game. Komplet recorded 8 points. Lupa Promotion Novi Zagreb (18-1) is placed second in the A1. It was her team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Komplet's overall stats this season are: 6.7ppg and 2.5rpg. She is also Slovenian national team player.

   #5. International forward Lea Jagodic (182-91, currently plays in Italy) contributed to an easy victory against the 12th-ranked Milano (9-14) crushing them 69-42 in the Italian A2 (12th division) last Saturday. Jagodic scored 12 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 23 minutes. Fila San Martino Di Lupari (21-5) is placed second in North group. The Regular Season already ended. It's Jagodic's first season with the team. She has reliable stats this year: 13.4ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.1apg and 2.0spg in the 24 games. Jagodic plays currently for the Slovenian national team.

   #6. Power forward Ana Ljubenovic (182-88, currently plays in Italy) was not able to help Muggia (11-15) in their game against TEC-MAR Crema (16-10) in the Italian A2 (12th division). She scored only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 22 minutes. Muggia (#9) was crushed 77-49 in Crema by the higher-ranked (#4) TEC-MAR in the North group. They ended the series of three consecutive victories. The Regular Season already ended. Ljubenovic is currently fifth on the list of best rebounders with 10.0rpg. She also averaged so far 13.1ppg and 1.4spg in the 25 games. Ljubenovic is a former international player as she played for the Slovenian senior team two years ago.

One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has Slovenian passport:

   #1. Branka Vukicevic (173-G-82, currently plays in Croatia), who plays in the Croatian A1 could not help the league outsider ZKK Agram (0-19) to beat Gospic (18-1). She was the second best scorer with 9 points. Vukicevic also added 4 rebounds. But the bottom-ranked ZKK Agram was crushed 90-40 on the road by the leading Gospic. So far ZKK Agram lost all nineteen games in the Regular Season. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Vukicevic averaged so far 13.6ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.6apg.

Former international Point guard Rebeka Abramovic (172-PG-93) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Triglav, receiving a Player of the Week award for round 2. The 24-year old player was the main contributor (25 points, five rebounds and five assists) to her team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Jezica (#8, 0-2) with 40-point margin 81-41. Visiting teams win all four games - 3 days ago
All four visiting teams won in Slovenian League Round 3. Konjice-Maribor 60-68: Maribor trailed just once in the game as the home team hit an openining 3-pointer for a 3-0 lead. Maribor took control of the game behind a 9-0 run to go up 38-27, their largest lead of the contest, late in the second quarter. Konjice cut the deficit to four, 49-53, going into the fourt quarter. 24-year old guard Urska Zibert (174-G-93) had an amazing evening in the last round for Triglav and receives a Player of the Week award for round 1. She had the game-high 21 points adding five rebounds and six assists for Triglav in her team's victory, helping them to outclass Domzale (#5, 0-1) with 48-point margin 76-28.
