We bring you last week's top performances from Slovenians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is an international point guard Nika Baric (169-92, currently plays in Russia). She contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Spartak Noginsk (4-12) crushing them 81-40 in the Russian PBL in Wednesday night's game. Baric scored 8 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 23 minutes on the court. Spartak Vidnoe Moscow Region (12-4) is placed second in the PBL. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Baric averages: 5.8ppg, 1.3rpg, 2.4apg, 2FGP: 46.9%, 3FGP: 42.1% and FT: 84.6% in the 14 games she played so far. She is currently a member of the Slovenian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international guard Martina Dover (177-86, currently plays in Croatia). Dover contributed to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Ragusa (5-12) crushing them 87-38 in the Croatian A1 last Saturday. She scored 10 points and added 4 passes. Gospic Croatia Osiguranje (17-1) is placed first in the A1. It was her team's 16th consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Dover has relatively good stats this season: 10.6ppg, 4.8rpg, 2.3apg, 2.4spg, 2FGP: 49.0%, 3FGP: 42.1% and FT: 72.7%. She is in the roster of the Slovenian senior national team.

   #3. The Slovenian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international forward Lea Jagodic (182-91, currently plays in Italy). Jagodic was the major contributor in a San Martino's victory against the 11th-ranked San Salvatore (8-16) crushing them 79-50 in the Italian A2 (12th division) on Sunday night. She scored 18 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 27 minutes. Fila San Martino Di Lupari (20-4) is placed third in North group. It was her team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. This year Jagodic has relatively solid stats: 13.5ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.2apg, 2.0spg, 2FGP: 51.0%, 3FGP: 37.9% and FT: 64.7% in the 22 games. She is also a member of the Slovenian senior national team.

Center Tina Trebec (189-90, agency: Kotnik Sports Agency, currently plays in Czech Republic), who plays in the Czech Republic ZBL could not help Basket Slovanka MB (8-16) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Trebec's very good performance the fourth-placed Basket Slovanka MB was crushed 74-51 on the road by the second-ranked VS Praha in the A2 group. She was the top scorer with 16 points. Trebec also added 9 rebounds. There are only four games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be extremely important. It's Trebec's first season with the team. She has reliable stats this year: 14.3ppg and 4.4rpg. Trebec is also Slovenian national team player.

International power forward Eva Komplet (182-86, currently plays in Croatia) managed to help Lupa Promotion Novi Zagreb in a victory against the eighth-ranked KK Zadar (7-11) crushing them 87-37 in the Croatian A1 last Saturday. She scored only 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 13 minutes. Lupa Promotion Novi Zagreb (17-1) is placed second in the A1. It was her team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. This year Komplet's overall stats are: 6.4ppg and 2.6rpg in the five games. She plays currently for the Slovenian national team.

Guard Katarina Ristic (174-84, currently plays in Sweden) led Solna Vikings to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked Telge (0-6) crushing them 71-42 in the Swedish Damligan on Saturday night. Ristic scored 15 points. Solna Vikings (4-2) is placed third in Group 1. Her team will play only one more game in the Second Stage. Ristic's total stats this season are: 9.5ppg, 2.2rpg, 3.0apg and 1.5spg. She is a former international player as she played for the Slovenian senior team two years ago.

Former international power forward Ana Ljubenovic (182-88, currently plays in Italy) contributed to Muggia's surprising victory against the third-ranked San Martino (20-4) 56-51 in the Italian A2 (12th division) in Saturday night's game. Ljubenovic scored 8 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 35 minutes. Interclub Muggia (10-14) is placed ninth in North group. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. Ljubenovic belongs to league's best rebounders and is ranked #4 with 9.9rpg. She also averaged so far 13.5ppg and 1.5spg in the 23 games. Ljubenovic used to play for the Slovenian national team two years ago.

   #8. Center Sandra Pirsic (197-84, currently plays in France) was not able to help Villeneuve D'Ascq (9-13) in their game against Bourges (18-4) in the French LFB. She cannot count Friday's game as one of the best ones. Pirsic recorded only 2 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Villeneuve D'Ascq was crushed 87-48 on the opponent's court by the second-ranked Bourges. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. Pirsic's total stats this season are: 3.8ppg and 2.8rpg. She plays currently for the Slovenian national team.

Al Aplemont Le Havre (NF1) landed 33-year old Slovenian ex-international guard Katarina Ristic (170-84, agency: Two Points). She played most recently at PINKK-Pecsi in Hungarian A Division. In 13 games she averaged 8.9ppg, 2.5rpg, 2.8apg and 1.2spg last season. Ristic also played 5 games in Eurocup where she had very impressive stats: 16.4ppg, 4.0rpg, 4.2apg and 2.0spg. Former Slovenian National team member Katarina Ristic(170-G-84) returned to France to play for Le Havre in the coming 2017-18 season. Ristic had previously played in France for Villeneuve D'Ascq during the 2014-15 season, averaging 2.4 points in 27 LFB (Ligue Feminine de Basketball) games. Slovenian National team member Tina Jakovina(183-F-92) is joining Hungarian side PINKK Pecsi 424 for the coming season 2017-18. Jakovina arrives from Italian club Velco Vicenza, where she averaged 14.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.2 blocks in 31 Serie A2 League games last season, her first abroad.
