Domzale-Athlete Celje 52-83: Guided by two players with a double-double, Celje never trailed in a rematch of Cup finals. Eva Lisec (190-C-95) had 30 points and 10 rebounds and Ziva Macura (190-F/C-95) came off the bench for 19 points and 10 rebounds. National team member Teja Oblak (171-G-90) scored 15 points in her first action since knee surgery last summer. Celje outrebounded Domzale 57-26, picking up 26 offensive rebounds. Helena Boada (174-G-87, agency: Regeneracom Sports) scored 20 points for Domzale, Sabina Ajkic (176-SG-96) added 12 and Anamaria Prezelj (177-F-97) posted 10 points.
Triglav-Subrina Ilirija 83-52: Triglav made a 12-0 run in the opening five minutes to take the control of the game for an easy win. Tina Jakovina (182-F-92) scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Bojana Djuric scored 14 points and Manca Jelenc (172-PG-96) added 10. Triglav outrebounded Ilirija 47-24, picking up 22 offensive boards. Anja Klavzar (177-F-90) posted 17 points for Ilirija and Lana Kotar (96) added 10.
Grosuplje-Jezica 66-46: Grosuplje grabbed more rebounds (52) than Jezica had points (46). The opened the game with a 12-1 run, but Jezica scored 13 straight points to take a lead 29-28 early in the second half. Grosuplje responed with a 14-0 run and finished the game with a 11-3 run. Sandra Bajrektarevic (168-G-90) scored 22 points, Zala Lesek (187-F-97) came of the bench for 11 points and 11 rebounds, Anita Kastelic (172-G-94) netted 11 points Barbara Skof (180-F-80) grabbed 13 rebounds. Jezica's lone scorer in double figures was Eva Rupnik (177-F-92) with 14 points.

At least three more teams will have new coach in the upcoming 2017-18 season. Ilirija have appointed youth team coach Alen Ploj as their first-team coach after Goran Jovanovic left the club. Jovanovic is not the only person leaving the club with director Emir Haskic also resigning. Ploj joined Ilirija last summer and led Cadett (U15) team to the 2017 WABA League title. Sara Meden (ex Triglav) joins Adareva - 10 days ago
CD Adareva (LF2) agreed terms with 23-year old Slovenian point guard Sara Meden (171-94). She has played for the last four seasons at Triglav in Slovenian SKL league. In 25 games she had 7.5ppg, 1.4rpg, 3.1apg and 1.3spg last season. Meden helped them to make it to both league and Cup finals after they ended regular season as second best team. UBI Graz hire coach Kuzma, ex Maribor - 11 days ago
UBI Graz (AWBL) hired Slovenian coach Andrej Kuzma. He has coached for the last five seasons at AJM Maribor in Slovenian SKL league. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Coach Assistant: Slovenian League All-Star Game. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Kuzma's team made it to the SKL Semifinals for two years in a row (2015 and 2016).
