Union Olimpija demolished Tajfun Sentjur by 81-45 in the first game of Telemach League Play-Off Round 6. Dino Muric (200-F-90) had 18 points and 8 rebounds, Luka Rupnik (185-PG-93) came off the bench for 15 points, all on the 3-pointer and Jasmin Perkovic (205-F-80, agency: Court Side) added 10 points. Olmpija opened the game with 16 consecutive points and its defense held Sentjur scoreless for a 5:39. Olimpija's struggled continued, ad they built its lead to 31-4 before Sentjur got its first field goal at the 13:14 mark of the first half after misfiring on its firs 11 shots. Mladen Primorac (210-C-90) was the lone scorer in double digits with 18 points. League Play-Out Round 6: Grosuplje-LTH Castings Mercator 65-62: Grosuplje have emerged triumphant from the battle of the bottom-placed sides. Marko Antonijevic (189-G-81, agency: Court Side) finished with 17 points, Sasa Zagorac (205-F/C-84) added 16, Ziga Erculj (177-G-86) 13 and Igor Tratnik (206-C/F-89) 12. The leargest lead of either teams was LTH 35-26, early in the second half. Grosuplje erasing that 9-point deficit and taking the lead 55-51 midway through the final quarter, its largest lead of the game. LTH responded with nine straight points to go up 60-55 with three minutes to go. Grosuplje went on a 9-0 and made all seven of their free-throws in that span as take an advantage 64-60 with 21 seconds left. Simon Finzgar (196-F-80) made a lay-up to cut the deficit to two and had an additonal free throw. He missed and Matic Trampus grabbed defensive board to secure an inportant win for Grosuplje. Finzgar was the lone LTH's scorer in double figures wuth game-high 20 points. Rogaska Crystal-Hopsi 67-83: The visiting team, who never trailed, scored 15 straight points to go up 25-5 late in the first quarter and led by as many as 23 points midway through the third period. Hugh Robertson (198-G-89, college: S.Florida) finished with 17 points, Kervin Bristol (208-F-88, college: Fordham) collected 16 points and 12 rebounds, Goran Jagodnik (203-F-74, agency: Beo Basket) posted 15 points and Danijel Vujasinovic (180-G-89) collected 11 points and 8 rebounds. Rogaska's bench players outscored its starters 40-27. Zeljko Jotic (185-G-89) and Milos Miljkovic (204-F/C-84) posted 14 points apiece, Tadej Kostomaj (186-G-87) and Boban Tomic (190-G-88, agency: Alti Sport) both scored 12 points. Slovan-Elektra 68-73: After trailing 55-56 going into the final quarter, Elektra went on a 12-2 run to ta take a lead 67-58 and ended Slovan's eight game winning streak. Mensud Julevic (200-PF-85) scored 14 points, Simo Atanackovic (206-F-90) added 10 poitns and David Collins (213-C-85, college: Bradley) grabbed 12 rebounds. Slovan was led by Stipe Modric (206-F-79) with his 20 points, Domen Bratoz (186-PG-93) scored 14 points and Dejan Mlakar (192-G-88, agency: Global Sports Plaza) 11.

Un.Olimpija is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 5th lost game this season out of 9 games. In the team's last game Oliver had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Un.Olimpija's top player in his first season with the team. University of Dayton graduate has very impressive stats this year. Oliver is in league's top in points (6th best: 15.1ppg), rebounds (5th best: 7.3rpg) and averages solid 65.0% FGP.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 24-year old point guard Jan Span (187-PG-92) of Zlatorog. Span impressed basketball fans with 21 points, 2 rebounds and 7 assists. Bad luck as Zlatorog was edged by slightly higher-ranked Un.Olimpija (4-5) 88-87. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Zlatorog still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-5 record. Span is a newcomer at Zlatorog and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.6ppg (#4). He also recorded 3.7 assists per game.
The third best performed player last round was Mirza Sarajlija (187-PG-91, agency: AproK Sports Group) of Tajfun (#8). Sarajlija showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, six rebounds and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Tajfun, leading his team to a 75-68 win against slightly lower-ranked Sencur Gor. (#9, 11-8). Tajfun needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 14 victories and 5 lost games. Sarajlija has a very solid season. In 26 games in Slovenia he scored 12.0ppg.

American made a pair of foul shots as Krka secure home court advantage throughout the playoffs. Krka outrebounded Rogaska 50-35, picking up 19 offensive rebounds. Sandi Cebular (195-G-86) finished with 18 points, Ziga Dimec came off the bench for 14 points and 10 rebounds and Ron Curry scored 10 points, making just one of his 10 field goal attempts. Union Olimpija-Zlatorog 88-87: The game featured 20 lead changes and 13 ties and the largest lead for either team was eight points, held by Olimpija at 17-9 midway through the opening quarter. Zlatorog used an 8-1 run to turn a one-point deficit into a 79-73 lead with 4:20 remaining and was ahead by five going into the final two minutes. At that point, Brandon Jefferson (175-PG-91, college: Metro St.) scored seven straight points to put Olimpija up 86-84. A 3-pointer by Jernej Ledl (191-G-97) gave Zlatorog a one-point lead. On the next possession, Olimpija's Jan Barbaric (188-G-95) missed a lay-up, but Devin Oliver (204-SF-92, college: Dayton) grabbed an offensive rebound and made a game-winning layup. Zlatorog had the final actiona of the game and Nejc Baric (181-PG-97) missed a lay-up at the buzzer. Hopsi took control of the game behind a 16-2 run to go up 56-38 midway through the third quarter. Hopsi has six players in double scoring figures including all five staters. Uros Godler (205-C-85) came off the bench for 16 points, Dejan Cup (202-PF-83) and Milojko Vasilic (207-C-89) both scored 12 points, Zan Kosic (185-G-93) 11, Alen Hodzic (192-SF-92) and Jakob Cebasek (200-G/F-91) posted 10 points apiece.
