The teams have now bigger motivation at this stage of Regular Season. Every game can be crucial and decide about teams' position at the end of Regular Season.

Fifteenth-ranked Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (11-20) gave a tough game to second ranked Caja Laboral (23-7) in Madrid on Saturday. The visitors from Vitoria managed to secure only three-point victory 86-83. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 36-27 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for Serbian power forward Nemanja Bjelica (209-88, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. French guard Thomas Heurtel (188-89) helped adding 13 points and 7 assists. At the losing side Argentinian-Italian forward Leonardo Mainoldi (203-85) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Caja Laboral have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 23-7 record having five points less than leader Real Madrid. Baloncesto Fuenlabrada at the other side keeps the fifteenth position with 20 games lost. They share it with Cajasol. Caja Laboral are looking forward to face Gescrap BB (#5) in Bilbao in the next round. Baloncesto Fuenlabrada will play on the road against CB Canarias (#11) in Tenerife and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.

Defending champion Regal FC Barcelona keeps the third position with 11 games lost. Real Madrid's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Madrid Asefa Estudiantes.

Gescrap BB's coach Fotis Katsikaris used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Pablo Aguilar produced 25 points for lost side. Gescrap BB moved-up to fifth place. Loser CAI Zaragoza dropped to the sixth position with 13 games lost. Gescrap BB will meet at home league's second-placed Caja Laboral in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. CAI Zaragoza will play against Assignia Manresa (#18) and hope to secure a win.

Worth to mention a great performance of Albert Oliver who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. FIATC Joventut's coach Salvador Maldonado used entire bench saving starting five for next games. FIATC Joventut maintains tenth place with 15-16 record, which they share with CB Canarias. G.Canaria 2014 at the other side keeps the seventh position with 14 games lost. FIATC Joventut's next round opponent will be higher ranked Regal FC Barcelona (#3) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.

Loser Valencia Basket keeps the fourth position with 12 games lost. Unicaja Malaga will face Blusens Monbus (#8) in Santoago de Comp in the next round. Valencia Basket will play at home against Blancos de Rueda (#13) in Valladolid.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 31: UCAM Murcia lost to Asefa Estudian. on the opponent's court 85-94. Bottom-ranked Assignia M. unfortunately lost to CB Canarias in a home game 86-93. Blusens M. managed to beat Lagun Aro GBC on the road 77-73. Blancos de R. defeated Cajasol on its own court 88-84.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 28 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by Adam Hanga of Assignia M..

However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Unicaja Malaga won last quarter 23-18. They made 22-of-23 free shots (95.7 percent) during the game. Valencia Basket was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Very predictable result when eleventh ranked CB Canarias (15-16) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Assignia Manresa (6-25) 93-86 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 93-86. CB Canarias made 24-of-26 free shots (92.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Assignia Manresa was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Five CB Canarias and four Assignia Manresa players scored in double figures. Assignia Manresa's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. CB Canarias have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with FIATC Joventut. Loser Assignia Manresa stay dead last with 25 lost games. CB Canarias will face Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (#15) in Madrid in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Assignia Manresa will play on the road against CAI Zaragoza.
