Anna Cruz announced his departure from Rivas Ecopolis after four unforgettable years in which legend has become the Spanish basketball club. The player has a touching message of thanks to the fans, who found in her a leader in the field, and a club that has grown hand in hand.

Anna Rivas Ecopolis Cruz leaves after four seasons. The player received an irresistible offer from a foreign club and the club gave him facilities for the accept. Gone are four seasons he has become the player with the most points scored in the club's history and second in games played. Anna Cruz wanted expressly goodbye to the fans of the team Rivas Ecopolis and through first-hand a statement on the club's website.

"First, for the fans of Rivas I have only words of thanks. I felt very loved and supported during these four years. They were simply great. Fans have always been with us, both for good and bad, and to me, that of Rivas is the best women's basketball fans. Become essential for the club and for the players. I have clear that, wherever I go, I'll always very present. They made me feel very special. For me it is very difficult to 'let' this club because I'm so emotionally attached to it. I've grown a lot as a player at this club, but mostly, I have as a person. I can only say thank you. "

During these four years, Anna Cruz has won the Queen's Cup twice (2011 and 2013), he played the final of the Euroleague (2012) and final Women's League (2013). This is the pitch everything that makes its way through Rivas:

"The balance is positive, we have grown hand in hand, I as a player and as a club Rivas. We have gone up every year marking us our goals and challenges. I came to Rivas to go a step further, to prove to a bigger club, and besides, I have found a great family. Rivas was the first team from the pointers that are really interested for me, and thanks to this club I am what I am. In addition to sports, I value staff also has been a fruitful relationship for both. In both respects it has been a relationship of 'ten' ".

Perhaps a particularly sore point, and more in the heart than in the ankle, the injury was suffered in their last meeting, and that prevented him from playing in the second half of the last game of the Women's League final.

"After all that has happened, the feeling that I have is with sadness. Those 20 minutes are the worst moment of my career. It is very hard to be working throughout the year to that point and ultimately not able to help. I wanted to stay calm, but inside I was dying of rabies. I tried to warm up after the coup, but could not make right leg strength, it could push or run. If he went to the track was not going to add, subtract would, though at the time did not see well because I could feel like playing. I had planned a happy ending to this story, but in the end went all wrong. It really hurts to go with this feeling of helplessness ... But I'm sure that the destination link us and together we can indemnify these wounds take time to heal. "

Anna Cruz last season stands as the most positive in a great career

"To me, all the years have been good. In all I have learned, but if I had to highlight one above all would be the latter. Despite the sour end, we are all aware that we have done this season has been very good. We have learned to fight, suffer and enjoy. Sport is well, sometimes right and sometimes wrong. But, although we have been the icing, we know within ourselves deserved us. The human group has been very good, and again, I can only say thank you, although I repeat ".

Anna Cruz Rivas makes it clear that it will always be your home and leaves the door open for the future.

"My door and my heart will always be open for this club. Those who know me know I'm usually of few words when it comes to responding to the media, do not usually ramble. This is, by far, the easiest interview I have done in life, simply because I spoke to the heart, with goosebumps and a tear recorrindome cheek. This is not goodbye, it's a see you later. "
