Anna Cruz
International point guard Anna Cruz (173-PG-86, agency: Josep and Nicolas) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's leader Rivas Ecopolis and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 20.
The 26-year old playmaker had the game-high 20 points adding six rebounds and four assists for Rivas Ecopolis in her team's victory, helping them to beat Conquero (#9, 5-13) 60-47. It allowed Rivas Ecopolis to consolidate first place in the Spanish LFB. Rivas Ecopolis has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 18-1. In the team's last game Cruz had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at Rivas Ecopolis, through which he has constantly improved. Anna Cruz averages this season 13.5ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 23-year old Croatian center Marija Rezan (198-C-89) of second-ranked Perfumerias. Rezan impressed basketball fans with 21 points and 6 rebounds. Of course Perfumerias cruised to a 85-75 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Conquero (#9, 5-13). Perfumerias' second position in has not changed. Her team lost just three games this season, while they won 15 matches. Rezan is a newcomer at Perfumerias and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

The third best performed player last round was another Perfumerias' star - American Monique Currie (183-G/F-83). Currie scored 23 points and grabbed five rebounds. She was another key player of Perfumerias, helping her team with a 85-75 win against the lower-ranked Conquero (#9, 5-13). Perfumerias is closer and closer to the top of the standings in . They will still need more victories. But 15-3 record is not that bad... Currie has a very solid season. In 8 games in Spain she scored 12.1ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Bernice Mosby (186-F-84) of Conquero - 17 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Vanessa Ble (190-F/C-91) of Gran Canaria - 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Yurena Diaz (178-G-93) of Gran Canaria - 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists
7. Jacinta Monroe (193-F/C-88) of Uni Girona - 19 points and 10 rebounds
8. Taru Tuukkanen (190-C-77) of Caja Rural - 18 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Lucila Pascua (195-C-83) of Perfumerias - 11 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Lidia Mirchandani (172-PG-76) of Conquero - 20 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
