International point guard Anna Cruz (173-PG-86, agency: Josep and Nicolas) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's leader Rivas Ecopolis and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 20. The 26-year old playmaker had the game-high 20 points adding six rebounds and four assists for Rivas Ecopolis in her team's victory, helping them to beat Conquero (#9, 5-13) 60-47. It allowed Rivas Ecopolis to consolidate first place in the Spanish LFB. Rivas Ecopolis has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 18-1. In the team's last game Cruz had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at Rivas Ecopolis, through which he has constantly improved. Anna Cruz averages this season 13.5ppg.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 23-year old Croatian center Marija Rezan (198-C-89) of second-ranked Perfumerias. Rezan impressed basketball fans with 21 points and 6 rebounds. Of course Perfumerias cruised to a 85-75 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Conquero (#9, 5-13). Perfumerias' second position in has not changed. Her team lost just three games this season, while they won 15 matches. Rezan is a newcomer at Perfumerias and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.
The third best performed player last round was another Perfumerias' star - American Monique Currie (183-G/F-83). Currie scored 23 points and grabbed five rebounds. She was another key player of Perfumerias, helping her team with a 85-75 win against the lower-ranked Conquero (#9, 5-13). Perfumerias is closer and closer to the top of the standings in . They will still need more victories. But 15-3 record is not that bad... Currie has a very solid season. In 8 games in Spain she scored 12.1ppg.

Spain demolish the Finnish side in the first friendly game. The hosts posted an overwhelming 92:28 win in Game 1. Spain dominated the whole game and won all the quarters of the game. The hosts started with 29-8 lead in the first frame and of course never looked behind after. The Spanish side added a 19-7 rally in the second frame and went to the lockers with 33 points advantage. Spain posted also 28-5 burst in the third quarter and finished the game with 16-8 rally in the last stanza. They tried hard to post three-digit number at the very end, but were happy to leave the court with 92 points. Alba Torrens (188-F-89) top-scored for the winners with 20 points, while Marta Xargay Casademont (181-PG-90, agency: Josep and Nicolas) netted 12. Pascua collected 11 points and 11 rebounds, while Amaya Valdemoro (183-F-76, agency: Josep and Nicolas) also scored 11. Taru Tuukkanen (190-C-77, agency: Regeneracom Sports, college: Xavier) replied with 7 points and M.Sten delivered 5. Korpivaara produced 4, while Aijanen and Pounds had 3 each. Miguel Mendez leaves Rivas Ecopolis and will continue his career abroad. The Spanish Specialist left the team after two years.
Last year Miguel Mendez became Spanish LFB Cup Winner -13, Spanish LFB Regular Season Champion -13 and Spanish LFB Finalist -13. Earlier Rivas Ecopolis reached an agreement with its Head Coach Miguel Mendez for another season. The Spanish specialist took over the team in summer 2011. They also played in the LFB Cup Semis. Before Rivas Ecopolis, Miguel Mendez worked three years with Celta Vigo. He also has experience from Arranz Acinas. Miguel Mendez was named Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LFB Coach of the Year -10. He won Silver and Bronze medals with U18 Spanish NT Team at U20 European Championships 2010 and 2011.
