Good Angels advanced to Final Eight of EuroLeague. The Slovakian team won over Perfumerias and won the series 2-0. The game was mostly controlled by Good Angels. Perfumerias Avenida was better in fourth quarter 19-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Good Angels made 17-of-20 charity shots during the game. The best player for the winners was Plenette Pierson (188-PF-81, college: Texas Tech) who scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Allie Quigley (180-G-86, college: De Paul) chipped in 23 points. Tintos de Toro Caja Rural Zamora (LFB) landed 22-year old Latvian ex-international forward Linda Rubene (190-91). She just graduated from Indiana (NCAA). The last season Rubene also at Indiana University in Big Ten Conference in the NCAA. But in 24 games she averaged only 1.7ppg and 1.3rpg. As mentioned above she is just out of the college and it is her first season in pro basketball. Rubene was also a member of Latvian international program for some years. She played for Latvian Senior National Team in 2010 and previously for U18 National Team in 2009. Rubene represented Latvia at the European Championships U20 in Liepaja (Latvia) three years ago. Her team won Bronze and her stats at that event were 9 games: 0.9ppg. Rubene has played previously for 47.vsk and SK Riga.

She represented Spain at the European Championships U20 in Gdynia (Poland) four years ago.
