Coruna snatched a road win over Andorra to open the quarterfinal series. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 51-43 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Leyma Basquet made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. Leyma Basquet outrebounded River Andorra 35-12 including a 25-8 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Asier Zengotitabengoa (200-88) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Marcos Suka-Umu (193-85, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 22 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Leyma Basquet players scored in double figures. point guard Daniel Perez (188-90) answered with 15 points, 8 assists and 4 steals and naturalized Russian power forward Dmitry Flis (203-84) added 21 points in the effort for River Andorra. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Caceres surged ahead in the series beating Breogan away from home. It looked good early as Leche Rio Breogan took an 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Caceres Basket had a 29-22 second period charge getting the lead and Leche Rio Breogan was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 88-95. Caceres Basket made 17-of-19 charity shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Caceres Basket outrebounded Leche Rio Breogan 32-20 including 24 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Caceres Basket especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. American guard Braydon Hobbs (195-89, college: Bellarmine) stepped up and scored 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and power forward Roberto Morentin (206-81, college: Cent.Florida) chipped in 9 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Caceres Basket players scored in double figures. Caceres Basket's coach Carlos Frade allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American guard Anthony Winchester (193-83, college: W.Kentucky) responded with 31 points and 5 assists and Lithuanian guard Gintaras Leonavicius (194-83, agency: Players Group) scored 15 points.
