Caceres overcame Breogan to seal their semifinal appearance. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 22-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Caceres Basket outrebounded Leche Rio Breogan 39-26 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Braydon Hobbs (195-89, college: Bellarmine) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Power forward Roberto Morentin (206-81, college: Cent.Florida) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Caceres Basket's coach Carlos Frade used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Dutch power forward Roeland Schaftenaar (211-88, college: Oregon St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Anthony Winchester (193-83, college: W.Kentucky) added 24 points in the effort for Leche Rio Breogan.

Palencia rolled over Forca Lleida to secure the spot in the semis. The game without a history. Palencia Baloncesto led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Palencia Baloncesto outrebounded Lleida Basquet 41-29 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Power forward Urko Otegui (203-81) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and power forward Roger Fornas (202-82) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. Four Palencia Baloncesto players scored in double figures. Palencia Baloncesto's coach Nacho Lezkano allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. point guard Daniel Rodriguez (182-84) responded with 18 points and power forward Pierre Oriola (206-92) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Andorra outgunned Coruna for the ticket into the next stage. The game was mostly controlled by River Andorra. Leyma Basquet was better in fourth quarter 31-28. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Leyma Basquet 39-25 including 16 on the offensive glass. Leyma Basquet was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Naturalized Russian power forward Dmitry Flis (203-84) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and point guard Daniel Perez (188-90) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. Guard Marcos Suka-Umu (193-85, agency: Interperformances) responded with 22 points and 5 assists and forward Asier Zengotitabengoa (200-88) scored 19 points and 6 assists. Five River Andorra and four Leyma Basquet players scored in double figures. Leyma Basquet's coach rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Pas Pielagos (EBA) agreed terms with Canadian forward Pape Seck (208-95kg, college: Simon Fraser). He played most recently at Tindastoll in Icelandic Dominos League, but left the team in Nov.'16.
