The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 26-11 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Sodertalje Kings made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Solna Vikings turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Solna Vikings helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American center Kenneth Simms (203-86, college: Cumberland) fired 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import point guard John Roberson (180-88, college: Texas Tech) chipped in 17 points. Four Sodertalje Kings players scored in double figures.
