08 Stockholm was ahead by 5 points after three quarters before a 23-10 charge of Sundsvall Dragons, which allowed them to win the game. They made 26-of-30 charity shots (86.7 percent) during the game. Sundsvall Dragons outrebounded 08 Stockholm 37-24 including a 30-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. 08 Stockholm was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Icelandic forward Hlynur Baeringsson (200-82) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists. Icelandic point guard Jakob Sigurdarson (192-82, college: Birm.Southern) contributed with 26 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. KFUM Nassjo Basket (Basketligan) landed 25-year old French forward Thomas Tshikaya (201-102kg-92). He just graduated from Angelo State University (NCAA2). In 26 games he averaged 10.4ppg and 8.3rpg last season. Tshikaya helped them to make it to the final. As mentioned above he is just out of the college and it will be his first season in pro basketball. Tshikaya has played previously for Sluc Nancy and SPO Rouen.
