Hudson
Etoile Charleville-Mezieres (ProB) inked 28-year old American guard Darryl Hudson (195-85, college: Howard, agency: R.H.Consultancy). He started the season at KFUM Jamtland Basket in Swedish Basketligan. In 20 games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.7ppg, 4.7rpg and 3.0apg this season. The last summer Hudson played at Taranaki (NBL) in New Zealand league. In 16 games he averaged remarkable 20.9ppg, 6.4rpg, 3.8apg and 1.3spg.
The previous (10-11) season he played at Gold Coast Blaze (NBL) in Australian league. In 23 games he averaged 8.5ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.8apg.
Among other achievements Hudson's team made it to the Hungarian League Semifinals in 2009. He received also Australiabasket.com New Zealand NBL All-Imports Team award back in 2010.
Hudson is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Finland (UU-Korihait and Kauhajoen Karhu), Germany (Walter Tigers), New Zealand (Hub Jets and Wellington Exodus Saints) and Hungary (Falco-Szova).
Hudson attended Howard University until 2007 and it is his sixth season in pro basketball.
His game is described as: Athletic combo guard, that is very quick, explosive and can finish around the basket. His normal position is the point guard but played the 2 and 3 position his last two years in college. He is a long 6' 4' guard that allows him to distract his opponents when he is defending smaller guards. A natural leader and a HARD worker.
