Here is the weekly review of the top performing Swedish players, who play currently abroad.

Farhiya Abdi
Farhiya Abdi
#1. This week's number one is former international forward Farhiya Abdi (188-92, currently plays in Czech Republic). She was the major contributor in an IMOS Brno's victory against the third-ranked Sokol Hradec Kralove (18-8) 82-70 in the Czech Republic ZBL in Saturday night's game. Abdi recorded 18 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals in 38 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group A1. IMOS Brno (21-5) is placed second. It was her team's first victory after three consecutive loses. There are only two games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. Abdi is currently fourth on the list of top scorers with 17.1ppg. She also averaged so far 6.3rpg, 2.1apg, 1.8spg, 2FGP: 49.5%, 3FGP: 14.9% and FT: 76.7% in the 24 games she played so far. Abdi played for the Swedish senior national team two years ago.

Elin Eldebrink
Elin Eldebrink
#2. Second place goes to an international guard Elin Eldebrink (174-88, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian A1. She could not help Cagliari CUS (3-14) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Eldebrink's very good performance Cagliari CUS was badly defeated 73-56 on the road by the leading Familia Schio. She was the top scorer with 22 points. Eldebrink also added 3 assists. Her team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. Eldebrink belongs to league's top scorers (ranked #9) and also on the list of best passers (second place). She has very reliable stats this season: 13.7ppg, 4.5rpg, 3.3apg, 2.4spg, 2FGP: 50.4%, 3FGP: 38.5% and FT: 69.6%. Eldebrink is in the roster of the Swedish senior national team.

Maryan Gultekin
Maryan Gultekin
#3. The Swedish player who performed third best last week abroad was former U20 international guard Maryan Gultekin (166-90, currently plays in Turkey). She was not able to help Canik Bld (9-15) in their game against Istanbul Universitesi (14-10) in the Turkish TKBL. Gultekin scored 9 points and added 4 passes in 26 minutes. But Canik Bld was crushed 91-63 in Istanbul by the higher-ranked (#6) Universitesi. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. It's Gultekin's first season with the team. This year she averages: 4.1ppg, 1.1rpg, 1.6apg, 2FGP: 31.0%, 3FGP: 34.3% and FT: 88.9% in the 17 games. Gultekin has a dual citizenship: Swedish and Turkish. She played for the Swedish U20 national team three years ago.

Binta Drammeh
Binta Drammeh
#4. Forward Binta Drammeh (180-92, currently plays in Germany) contributed to a 2-point Don Bosco Bamberg's victory against the sixth-ranked Heli Girls (11-10) 56-54 in the German DBBL in Saturday night's game. Drammeh scored 7 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. DJK Don Bosco Bambergis placed first in the DBBL. Drammeh has relatively good stats this season: 14.2ppg, 7.9rpg and 1.3spg. She is also Swedish U20 national team player.

One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has Swedish passport:

#1. Emma Dorph (171-G/F-88, currently plays in Denmark), who plays in the Danish Dameligaen could not help the league outsider Horsens (0-21) to beat SISU (17-10). Dorph did not have that impressive stats last Wednesday. She scored only 3 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 20 minutes. The bottom-ranked Horsens was crushed 79-51 at home by the higher-ranked (#4) SISU. So far Horsens lost all twenty one games in the Quarter-Finals. Dorph has been at the team for seven years. This season Dorph's overall stats are: 1.8ppg, 3.2rpg and 1.7apg in the six games she played so far.
