Norrkoping - Solna Vikings 66-57 (1-0)

Norrkoping takes the lead at the Damligan Finals. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Solna Vikings won third quarter 17-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Solna Vikings 42-29 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Elisabeth Egnell (185-87, college: Boston Coll.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. International swingman Tanya Massamba (182-91) contributed with 9 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Norrkoping Dolphins' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international center Katarina Andersson (191-83) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and American point guard Eureka Brooks (170-86, college: Florida) added 20 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Solna Vikings.

After 3 rounds played we can already see who rules in the Damligan and who belongs to weaker ones. Lulea Basket (3-0) managed to deliver another win on Friday. This time they beat Norrkoping Dolphins (0-3) 79-68. The game was mostly controlled by Lulea Basket. Norrkoping Dolphins managed to win fourth quarter 19-15.
