Boras were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Boras II made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Forward Mohamed Nefatti (196-84) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and forward Hajzer Ismaili (201-94) chipped in 18 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. At the losing side guard Gustav Nystrom (189-89, college: Hope) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks and forward Taino Bendz (191-88) scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Four Boras II and five IK Eos players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Taby Basket made 37-of-47 charity shots (78.7 percent) during the game, while Brahe Basket only scored seventeen points from the stripe. Brahe Basket was plagued by 35 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Jon Jonsson (201-87, college: Oklah.Christian) nailed a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Jimmy Lundin (184-90) accounted for 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Taby Basket players scored in double figures. American forward Matthew Cavalieri (198-89, college: Springfield) came up with 19 points and 7 rebounds and guard Tanju Yulman (186-90) added 19 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Brahe Basket in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Real Madrid (Liga Endesa) will keep 28-year old Swedish small forward Jeffery Taylor (201-102kg-89, college: Vanderbilt) on the roster. He has played there for the last two seasons. KFUM Jamtland Basket (Basketligan) added to their roster 29-year old American center William Paul (208-111kg-88, college: Arkansas Tech). He played most recently at SCM CSU Craiova in Romanian Liga Nationala, but left the team in Dec.'16. In 12 games he recorded 11.9ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.1apg last season. Boras Basket (Basketligan) landed 26-year old point guard Andreas Person (190-85kg-91). It is actually his comeback to Boras Basket as he has played here before. Person has played for the last two years at Uppsala Basket in the Basketligan. In 40 games he averaged 12.5ppg, 3.2rpg, 2.1apg and 1.2spg last season. Person helped them to make it to the semifinals.
