Azovmash celebrated the second straight win over SAM Massagno. The teams met again during the training camp in Bormio. Coleman Collins (206-C/F-86, agency: Beo Basket, college: Virginia Tech) stepped up with 22 points to lead the Mariupol team to another win.
It was a close battle throughout the first half. Azovmash surged ahead in the second term. But they built just a three-point halftime lead 48:45. SAM Massagno did not allow Azovmash to clear off throughout the bigger part of the second half. But the Ukrainian team shifted the gear in the dying minutes and ran away with the victory. Daniel Kickert (208-C/F-83, college: St.Mary's, CA) produced 21 points, while Derrick Low (188-PG-86, college: Washington St.) had 12 points for the winners. Cory Johnson (200-F-88, college: Valparaiso) answered with 24 points for SAM Massagno. Dante Taylor (206-F-90, agency: Three Eye Sports, college: Pittsburgh) had 19 points in the loss.
