American forward Arizona Reid (196-86, college: High Point) fired 41 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. The other American import forward Matt Shaw (203-88, college: UNLV, agency: Two Points) chipped in 14 points. The former international Dusan Mladjan (198-86, agency: Interperformances) produced 25 points and American forward Richie Gordon (203-89, college: W.Carolina) added 12 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side. BC AK Aarau celebrated the LNB title. They swept the title series against Vevey. The decisive victory came on the road 68:71. BC AKA jumped to an early lead. They built a 36:27 halftime advantage. The Aarau team kept their opponents at bay throughout the second half and rolled the victory at the end. Domenico Marcario (180-PG-79) exploded with 29 points for Vevey but could not prevent his team from losing. It was the second champions title for BC AKA in their LNB history. [read more]
