There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in LNA.

The game between second ranked Fribourg (18-6) and eighth ranked BBC Nyon (5-19) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Fribourg was defeated by BBC Nyon in a tough game in Nyon 75-83. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 23-18. But Fribourg won second period 27-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BBC Nyon made 20-of-22 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Marvin Owens (196-86, college: Northwood) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws). Forward Justin Rutty (200-89, college: Quinnipiac) contributed with 20 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Forward Arizona Reid (196-86, college: High Point) answered with 20 points and 7 rebounds for Fribourg. BBC Nyon maintains eighth place with 5-19 record. Fribourg lost third consecutive game. They keep the second position with six games lost. BBC Nyon are looking forward to face higher ranked Boncourt (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Fribourg will play against Monthey (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
LNA top team - Geneve Lions (20-4) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked Starwings (8-17) in Basel 79-50. American point guard Kelvin Parker (183-82, college: NW Missouri St.) stepped up and scored 16 points and 8 assists for the winners and Florian Steinmann chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side Bahamas forward Jaraun Burrows (203-85, college: IPFW) responded with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
