Geneve Lions - Lugano Tigers 80-74

Geneve Lions outgunned Lugano Tigers to take 2-0 lead in the title series. The hosts trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 17-10 charge, which allowed them to win the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Lugano Tigers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American point guard Kelvin Parker (184-82, college: NW Missouri St.) who scored 26 points. The other American import guard Tony Brown (193-79, college: Arkansas St.) chipped in 11 points and 5 assists. Geneve Lions' coach Ivan Rudez used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian guard Branko Milisavljevic (193-76, agency: Beo Basket) produced 23 points and 5 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and American forward Richie Gordon (203-89, college: W.Carolina) added 16 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
