Fribourg rallied past Starwings to secure 2-0 lead in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Fribourg. Starwings was better in second period 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fribourg dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Starwings' 30. Fribourg forced 20 Starwings turnovers. Starwings were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American forward Arizona Reid (196-86, college: High Point) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. The other American import forward Matt Shaw (203-88, college: UNLV, agency: Two Points) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. American power forward Justin Dobbins (203-87, college: E.Michigan, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and Bahamas forward Jaraun Burrows (203-85, college: IPFW) added 8 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Vevey win LNB in fifth-game series against BBC Nyon. They won last game with the dominating entire game and final result was 82:55 for Paolo Povia players. They won also Regular Season as they finished 1st with only 3 loses and 18 wins. They will return to LNA after almost ten years of playing in LNB.
