Lugano Tigers - Geneve Lions 86-83

Lugano Tigers stayed alive in the championship series stealing a narrow home win over Geneve Lions in the third game. The hosts trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 40-19 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Lugano Tigers made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Geneve Lions helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was the former international Dusan Mladjan (198-86, agency: Interperformances) who scored 20 points. American forward Richie Gordon (203-89, college: W.Carolina) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Kelvin Parker (184-82, college: NW Missouri St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists and Croatian power forward Andrej Stimac (204-79) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. Five Lugano Tigers and four Geneve Lions players scored in double figures. Geneve Lions' coach Ivan Rudez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
