Altay Konak Belediyesi wins TKB2L Final Stage with 5-0 record. The team posted all the victories and triumphed in the country.
In the last game Altay Konak outscored Edirne 80:50. The game was mostly controlled by Altay Konak. Edirne was better in fourth quarter 17-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Edirne to just 7 points in second quarter. Altay Konak dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Edirne's 24. Altay Konak had a 31-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Edirne's players. American forward LaToya Thomas (188-F-81, agency: Ronsport, college: Mississippi St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Nazli Bircan Gokdemir chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Kubra Dicle (187-C-92) responded with 10 points and 7 rebounds and Nihan Demirkol (172-G-92) scored 6 points and 7 rebounds.
In another games Cankaya lost to Orman 67:84. Chasity Melvin orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Ayse Ivegin (177-G-87) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Four Orman players scored in double figures. Tiffany Stansbury (191-F/C-83, college: N.Carolina St.) answered with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Gulcin Cantekin added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Cankaya.
Botas was beaten by Orduspor 66:71. Miranda Ayim nailed 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and Arzu Akay (186-PF-76) accounted for 14 points and 5 rebounds. Orduspor's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Tilbe Senyurek came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Fenerbahce - Galatasaray 83-61 Fenerbahce coasted past Galatasaray in the semifinal opener. Fenerbahce made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Candace Parker (193-86, college: Tennessee) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists.
