Khimky recorded the seventh win in EuroLeague Top 16 Group F. They outgunned Fenerbahce at home court to step closer to the playoffs. Petteri Koponen (194-PG-88) nailed 23 points to lead the winners. Fenerbahce snatched a narrow advantage after ten minutes 23:22. But Khimky took over in the second frame. The Russian team spurred ahead. The hosts accumulated a 49:37 halftime advantage. Fenerbahce cut the deficit in the third term. The Turkish team got within 9 points at the final intermission 61:70. However Khimky dropped 29 points in the fourth stanza and raced to a comfortable victory at the end.
