Rok
Stipcevic
Tofas Bursa (TBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 27-year old Croatian international point guard Rok Stipcevic (185-82kg-86). He played most recently at Victoria Libertas Pesaro in Italian SerieA. In 17 games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.3ppg, 3.1rpg, 2.7apg and 1.4spg last season. Stipcevic also played at Armani Milano (SerieA) in Italy that season. In 12 games he averaged 6.1ppg and 1.1rpg. He also played 9 games in Euroleague where he averaged 3.1ppg and 1.2rpg.
The previous (11-12) season Stipcevic played at Cimberio Varese (SerieA) in Italian league. In 36 games he averaged 11.4ppg, 2.6rpg, 3.3apg and 1.2spg.
In 2010-11 season he played at Cibona in Croatian league. In 9 games he averaged 10.3ppg, 2.8rpg, 4.1apg and 1.0spg. Stipcevic also played 19 games in Adriatic League where he averaged 9.8ppg, 1.9rpg and 3.2apg.
In 2009-10 season he played at KK Zadar (A1) in Croatian league. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and Stipcevic was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 22 A1 games he averaged remarkable 16.1ppg, 2.9rpg, 4.0apg and 1.9spg. He helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team. Great season indeed as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Croatian A1 League 2nd Team, All-Star Game and All-Defensive Team. Stipcevic also played 6 games in Eurocup where he averaged 11.2ppg, 2.2rpg, 3.8apg and 1.2spg. He also played 25 games in Adriatic League where he averaged 13.0ppg, 2.0rpg, 3.9apg and 1.5spg. Stipcevic also spent pre-season at Borik Puntamika (A2) in Croatian league that year. A very good season in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Croatian A1 League 2nd Team, All-Star Game and All-Defensive Team.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as he won Croatian A1 League championship title in 2005 and 2008.
Stipcevic has been also a member of Croatian international program for some years. He has regularly played for Croatian senior team since 2010 and previously for U20 National Team between 2005 and 2006. Stipcevic also represented Croatia at the Qualifications to European Championships 2013 last year. His stats at that event were 8 games: 4.9ppg, 1.1rpg, 2.1apg.
The scouts decsribe him following way: A classic point guard, with quickness and a very good court vision. Has a good outside shot, knows how to run a pick and roll offense and can defend well on the ball.
