There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in TB2L.

The game between third ranked Maliye Milli (20-11) and sixteenth ranked Pertevniyal (12-19) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Maliye Milli was crushed by Pertevniyal in Ankara 73-93. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Maliye Milli. Pertevniyal shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Justin Gray (188-84, college: Wake Forest, agency: Higher Vision Sports) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 7 assists. Tayfun Erulku (193-94) contributed with 20 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. American guard Derek Williams (185-85, college: SMU) answered with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for Maliye Milli. Maliye Milli's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Pertevniyal moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Gelisim and Baskent Genclik. Maliye Milli at the other side dropped to the fourth position with 11 games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Pertevniyal is looking forward to face league's second-placed Yesilgiresun in Giresun in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Maliye Milli will play at home against Istanbul B.B. and is hoping to win this game.
TB2L top team - Usak (23-8) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat tenth ranked Bandirma Kir. (15-16) in Balikesir 95-84. It was a great evening for American forward Justin Carter (193-87, college: Creighton, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who led his team to a victory scoring 30 points and 5 steals (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). Eric Buckner helped adding 21 points and 4 blocks. Usak's coach Ozan Bulkaz allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American power forward Raymond Sykes (206-86, college: Clemson, agency: Three Eye Sports) responded with 33 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. Usak maintains first place with 23-8 record. Bandirma Kir. at the other side keeps the tenth position with 16 games lost. Usak will play against Trabzonspor (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Bandirma Kir. will play against Istanbulspor (#17) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Balikesir (18-13) and Final Genclik (13-18), which took place in Bursa. Higher ranked Balikesir lost to thirteenth ranked Final Genclik in a road game 71-80 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for Mustafa Gucyetmez who led the winners and scored 22 points and 5 assists. Robert Lowery came up with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for Balikesir in the defeat. Balikesir's coach Cengiz Karadag tested eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Final Genclik moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Pi Koleji. Newly promoted Balikesir keeps the eighth position with 13 games lost. Final Genclik will meet higher ranked Selcuk Universitesi (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Balikesir will play against Darussafaka (#7) in Istanbul and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game between fifteenth ranked Baskent Genclik (12-19) and 17th ranked Istanbulspor (4-27) in Ankara ended with biggest points difference. Baskent Genclik outscored guests from Istanbul 85-48. KZell Wesson fired a double-double by scoring 17 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Baskent Genclik moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Pertevniyal and Gelisim. Istanbulspor lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth position with 27 games lost. Baskent Genclik's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Ankara to the arena Pi Koleji.

Other games in round 31 were not that significant. Pi Koleji was beaten by Darussafaka on the road 71-62. Bottom-ranked Izmir BSB lost to Yesilgiresun on its own court 73-80. Selcuk Univ. managed to outperform Vestel in Konya 73-61. Trabzonspor recorded a loss to Akhisar Bld at home 74-80. Gelisim was defeated by Istanbul B.B. on the opponent's court 91-82.
The most impressive performance of 31th round was 24 points and 21 rebounds by Jayme Miller of Istanbul B.B..


Bandirma Kir. - Usak 84-95

TB2L top team - Usak (23-8) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat tenth ranked Bandirma Kir. (15-16) in Balikesir 95-84. Bandirma Kir. was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 51-38 second half run of Usak. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Justin Carter (193-87, college: Creighton, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who led his team to a victory scoring 30 points and 5 steals (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). His fellow American import forward Eric Buckner (208-90, college: Georgia St., agency: David Lee services) helped adding 21 points and 4 blocks. No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Darussafaka (20-11) beat 12th ranked Pi Koleji (13-18) in Istanbul 71-62. Darussafaka dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Pi Koleji's 22. American guard Marcus Hall (185-85, college: Colorado) fired 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. His fellow American import center LaRon Dendy (205-88, college: Middle Tenn.St., agency: David Lee services) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. Latvian center Kaspars Kambala (206-78, college: UNLV, agency: Alti Sport) produced 8 points and 13 rebounds and guard Yusuf Berkcan Yananer (191-90, agency: EM-PA) added 18 points respectively for lost side. The hosts were ahead by 2 points but lost the second period ending it with a 3-point deficit before their 31-19 run, which allowed them to win the game. American forward Jayme Miller (203-85) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points and 21 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. Guard Ahmet Tuncer (193-93, agency: 1x1 Sports) chipped in 27 points. Istanbul B.B.'s coach Hakan Yavuz used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American power forward Jermaine Dearman (202-80, college: S.Illinois) produced 25 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import point guard Dijuan Harris (175-86, college: Charlotte) added 13 points and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Istanbul B.B. maintains eleventh place with 14-17 record.
