The guests trailed by 12 points at the halftime before their 45-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. American point guard Bobby Dixon (178-83, college: Troy, agency: Beo Basket) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 assists for the winners and the former international forward Umit Sonkol (206-82) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side the former international power forward Kaya Peker (207-80, agency: Court Side) responded with 13 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and American-FYR Macedonian point guard Bo McCalebb (178-85, college: New Orleans) scored 12 points and 4 assists. Five Karsiyaka and four Fenerbahce Ulker players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Turk coach Ahmet Caki left ALBA Berlin (BBL). He helped them to make it to the German Bundesliga Cup Semifinals. The last season Caki coached at Anadolu Efes (BSL) in Turkish league. He contributed to his team winning the Cup and make to league final. Caki was selected to Turkish League All-Star Game back in 2010. He used to coach Turkish B National Team back in 2011. The teams have now bigger motivation at this stage of Regular Season. Every game can be crucial and decide about teams' position at the end of Regular Season. The game in Gaziantep was quite interesting. Third ranked Besiktas (22-5) played at the court of 8th ranked Gaziantep (13-14). Besiktas managed to secure a 8-point victory 67-59 on Sunday.
