Fourteenth-ranked Olin Edirne (5-17) gave a tough game to fourth ranked Anadolu Efes (18-4) in Istanbul on Sunday. Anadolu Efes managed to secure only one-point victory 83-82. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 22-14 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Anadolu Efes made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. 28 personal fouls committed by Olin Edirne helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International Kerem Gonlum (208-77) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Jordan Farmar (188-86, college: UCLA) chipped in 12 points and 7 assists during the contest.
