Hacettepe - Tofas 70-85

Not a big story in a game when 16th ranked Hacettepe (4-20) lost to eighth ranked Tofas (11-13) in Ankara 70-85 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Tofas. Hacettepe managed to win fourth quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by American power forward Joshua Heytvelt (210-86, college: Gonzaga) who scored that evening 12 points and 9 rebounds and naturalized Kosovan point guard Kenan Sipahi (198-95) supported him with 18 points. Four Tofas players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds by the former international center Huseyin Besok (212-75) did not help to save the game for Hacettepe. American guard Clay Tucker (196-80, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee, agency: Beo Basket) added 21 points and 4 assists. Tofas have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain eighth position with 11-13 record. Hacettepe lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 20 lost games.
