The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute susprises and upsets. The round 25 was rather boring as all games ended with very predictable results.

TBL top team - Galatasaray (22-3) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat eighth ranked Tofas (11-14) in Bursa 66-52. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Tofas. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 66-52. Galatasaray dominated on the defensive end, holding Tofas to just 6 points in third quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of Senegalese center Boniface Ndong (213-77) who helped to win the game recording 8 points and 8 rebounds. The former international guard Engin Atsur (193-84, college: N.Carolina St., agency: Beo Basket) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Forward Inanc Koc (202-79) answered with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for Tofas. Tofas' coach Ahmet Caki rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Galatasaray have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. They maintain first place with 22-3 record. Tofas at the other side keeps the eighth position with 14 games lost. Galatasaray are looking forward to face league's second-placed Fenerbahce Ulker in Istanbul in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tofas will play on the road against Antalya (#15) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
The game between fifth ranked Karsiyaka (19-6) and 15th ranked Antalya (5-20) in Karsiyaka ended with biggest points difference. Karsiyaka outscored guests from Antalya 90-66. The former international forward Umit Sonkol (206-82) stepped up and scored 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and Evren Buker chipped in 8 points and 7 assists. At the losing side American point guard Jordan Theodore (182-89, college: Seton Hall) responded with 26 points and 7 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Karsiyaka maintains fifth place with 19-6 record. Antalya lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifteenth position with 20 games lost. Karsiyaka will play against Aliaga (#10) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Antalya will play against Tofas (#8) in Bursa and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Other games in round 25 were not that significant. Aliaga was beaten by Besiktas on the road 79-66. Fener.Ulker won against Hacettepe on its own court 81-76. Banvit BK managed to outperform Gaziantep in Balikesir 83-73. TED Kolejliler managed to beat Olin Edirne at home 89-85. Turk Telekom was defeated by Erdemir on the opponent's court 77-64.
The most impressive performance of 25th round was 27 points and 10 assists by Baris Ermis of Fener.Ulker.

Besiktas - Aliaga 79-66

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Besiktas (15-10) beat 10th ranked Aliaga (9-16) in Istanbul 79-66. It looked good early as Aliaga took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Besiktas had a 22-19 second period charge getting the lead and Aliaga was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 66-79. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Aliaga to just 7 points in third quarter. Slovenian power forward Gasper Vidmar (211-87) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Tutku Acik (194-80) chipped in 13 points and 4 assists.
