The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Istanbul: Galatasaray (#1) and Fenerbahce Ulker (#2). Galatasaray (23-3) won against visiting Fenerbahce Ulker (21-5) 66-53. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Galatasaray's pressure prevailed and they won that period 16-10 extending their advantage to 13 points.
