The teams have now bigger motivation at this stage of Regular Season. Every game can be crucial and decide about teams' position at the end of Regular Season.

TBL top team - Galatasaray (24-3) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Gaziantep (10-17) 92-67. The game without a history. Galatasaray led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for Puerto Rican point guard Carlos Arroyo (188-79, college: FIU, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 9 assists. Senegalese center Boniface Ndong (213-77) helped adding 10 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American power forward Joey Dorsey (206-83, college: Memphis, agency: FCM) with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Galatasaray have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 24-3 record. Newly promoted Gaziantep keeps the tenth position with 17 games lost. Galatasaray are looking forward to face Banvit BK (#3) in Balikesir in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Gaziantep will play on the road against Antalya (#15) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
Sixth ranked Besiktas (16-10) crushed at home 14th ranked Olin Edirne (7-20) by 29 points 87-58, which is the biggest margin this round. It was a quality performance for the former international power forward Cevher Ozer (206-83, agency: 1x1 Sports) who led the winners and scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Serhat Cetin accounted for 15 points. Besiktas' coach Erman Kunter felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Belarusian center Artsiom Parakhouski (210-87, college: Radford) came up with 19 points and 8 rebounds for Olin Edirne in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for Besiktas. Defending champion maintains sixth place with 16-10 record. Olin Edirne at the other side keeps the fourteenth position with 20 games lost. Besiktas will play against Erdemir (#9) on the road in the next round. Olin Edirne will play against Karsiyaka (#5) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Ankara: TED Kolejliler (#7) and Turk Telekom (#12). TED Kolejliler (15-12) won against visiting Turk Telekom (8-19) 84-77. The best player for the winners was Jovo Stanojevic who scored 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Miha Zupan who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Newly promoted TED Kolejliler maintains seventh place with 15-12 record. Loser Turk Telekom keeps the twelfth position with 19 games lost. TED Kolejliler will meet Mersin (#13) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Turk Telekom's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Ankara Hacettepe.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 27: bottom-ranked Hacettepe lost to Banvit BK on the opponent's court 78-85. Fener.Ulker managed to outperform Antalya in a home game 90-78. Erdemir rolled over Mersin on the road 88-61. Tofas defeated Aliaga on its own court 76-66.

Not a big story in a game in Akdeniz where 13th ranked Mersin (7-19) was rolled over by ninth ranked Erdemir (11-16) 88-61 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-61.
