Cherkasy played their second game in Sevastopol and managed to beat Unics-2 87:50. The Ukrainian team started the game with an 18-13 lead and added 24-14 run in the second period. Moreover Cherkasy win the third period 24-15 and finished the game with a 21-8 surge. Jason Washburn (208-C-90, college: Utah) stepped up with 19 points and 6 rebounds, while Terry Smith (185-PG-86, college: Mercyhurst) netted 15. Chigrinov netted 14, whilst Andrii Kalnichenko (200-G-86) added 11 points and 7 boards.
Ferro outscored Musson 71:45. The latter surprised the favorites with a 20-13 lead in the first period, but could not compete with them in the rest of the game. Ferro needed a 23-6 in the second period and then posted two more victories in the second half.
Khartsyzsk lost the opener at the Sogdiana Cup in Voronezh. They lost the first game to the second team of Lokomotiv Kuban 58:59.
