Ramel Curry
32-year old guard Ramel Curry (192-G-80) had an amazing evening in the last round for BC Donetsk and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 51.
He had the game-high 22 points adding six rebounds and eight assists for BC Donetsk in his team's victory, helping them to crush Hoverla (#8, 19-17) with 16-point margin 96-80. BC Donetsk maintains the 7th position in Ukrainian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. BC Donetsk will need more victories to improve their 20-15 record. In the team's last game Curry had a remarkable 88.9% from 2-point range. It's his second year at BC Donetsk and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Ramel Curry averages this season 12.0ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Vincent Hunter (208-F-84) of Cherkasy. He is American forward in his first season at Cherkasy. In the last game Hunter recorded impressive double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds. It was enough for Cherkasy to edge the higher-ranked Azovmash (#2, 22-12) by 5 points 88-83. Cherkasy's 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 21-17 record is not bad and everything may still change. Hunter is a newcomer at Cherkasy and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Tadija Dragicevic (206-F/C-86, agency: Beo Basket) of league's second-best Azovmash. Dragicevic scored 25 points. Despite Dragicevic's great performance Azovmash lost 83-88 to the lower-ranked Cherkasy (#6, 21-17). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Azovmash needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 22 victories and 12 lost games. Dragicevic has a very solid season. In 33 games in Ukraine he scored 9.7ppg. He also has 4.8rpg and FGP: 58.9%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Dwayne Mitchell (196-G/F-82) of Mykolaiv - 22 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists
5. Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-F/C-84) of Halychyna - 20 points and 12 rebounds
6. Darius Songaila (204-C/F-78) of BC Donetsk - 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists
7. Ryan Pearson (198-F-90) of Hoverla - 24 points
8. Denis Ikovlev (201-SF-86) of Cherkasy - 12 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists
9. Dante Swanson (178-PG-81) of Cherkasy - 23 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Kevin Tiggs (196-G/F-84) of Hoverla - 16 points and 5 rebounds

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
