The games are now more important than at the beginning of the Regular Season. We may still expect few shocking results in upcoming 5 rounds.

The most exciting game of round 32 in the Higher League took place in Alchevsk. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of higher ranked VolinBasket (17-14) to eighth ranked Koksokh-Stal (12-19) 95-94 on Saturday evening. 27 personal fouls committed by VolinBasket helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Jan Selivanov (200-79) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Aleksander Kolomiychuk (202-91) who added 20 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Forward Artem Shelukha (198-87) responded with 28 points and 8 rebounds. Koksokh-Stal moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Kirovograd. VolinBasket at the other side keeps the fourth position with 14 games lost. Koksokh-Stal is again looking forward to face higher ranked VolinBasket (#4) in Lutsk in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. VolinBasket will have a break next round.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Khartsyzsk (24-7) against eighth ranked Koksokh-Stal (12-19) on Sunday night. Visiting Khartsyzsk was defeated by Koksokh-Stal in a tough game in Alchevsk 102-107. The winners were led by power forward Aleksander Kolomiychuk (202-91) who scored that evening 31 points and 6 rebounds and Boris Bereziuk supported him with 25 points and 5 assists. Even 29 points and 5 rebounds by forward Evgen Korovyakov (197-88) did not help to save the game for Khartsyzsk. Khartsyzsk's coach Vladimir Bryaukhavetshy tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Koksokh-Stal moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Kirovograd. Khartsyzsk at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost. Koksokh-Stal will play against higher ranked VolinBasket (#4) in Lutsk in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Khartsyzsk will play at home against BK Kremen in Kremenchuk and hopes to get back on the winning track.

The best player for the winners was Timur Arabadzhi who scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Dmitro Shvagrynskyi produced 11 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Avantazh-Politekhnik have an impressive 15-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 27-4 record behind leader Musson. Loser VolinBasket keeps the fourth place with 14 games lost. Avantazh-Politekhnik will meet at home Kirovograd (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. VolinBasket will play against Koksokh-Stal in Alchevsk and hope to secure a win.

Higher League top team - Musson (28-3) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Ternopil-TNEU (1-28) 101-44. Worth to mention a quality performance of Nikola Eromin who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Ternopil-TNEU's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Musson have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Newly promoted Musson maintains first position with 28-3 record. Ternopil-TNEU lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 28 lost games. Musson will have a break next round. Ternopil-TNEU will play again at home against the league's leader Musson (#1) in Symferopil.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 32: Kirovograd lost to Avantazh-Pol. on the opponent's court 77-93. Khartsyzsk managed to outperform BK Kremen in a home game 90-72. Tornado recorded a loss to Pulsar on the road 88-79. BK Kremen was crushed by Pulsar on its own court 66-87. Pulsar smashed BK Kremen in Rovno 100-75. Koksokh-Stal was destroyed by Khartsyzsk at home 63-90.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 37 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 blocks by Oleg Demchuk of Pulsar.


Avantazh-Pol. - Kirovograd 93-77

Very expected game in Kharkov where 7th ranked Kirovograd (12-19) was defeated by second ranked Avantazh-Politekhnik (27-4) 93-77 on Saturday. Avantazh-Politekhnik made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game, while Kirovograd only scored six points from the stripe. Avantazh-Politekhnik forced 19 Kirovograd turnovers and outrebounded them 43-28 including 19 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Anton Rochnyak (206-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and the former international guard Timur Arabadzhi (192-81) who added 17 points and 5 assists during the contest. Five Avantazh-Politekhnik players scored in double figures. Avantazh-Politekhnik's coach Valentin Kulibaba used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Stanislav Ovdeenko (192-84) responded with 23 points and Georgian power forward Davit Maisuradze (205-90) scored 9 points and 9 rebounds. Avantazh-Politekhnik have an impressive 15-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 27-4 record behind leader Musson. Loser Kirovograd keeps the seventh place with 19 games lost. Khartsyzsk dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to BK Kremen's 34 and made 22-of-24 free shots (91.7 percent) during the game. They outrebounded BK Kremen 36-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. BK Kremen was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of center Sergei Sabutskyy (208-86, agency: TSS Management) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 5 rebounds and forward Maxim Nikitin (201-89) who added 14 points during the contest. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. BC-93 Pulsar looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. BK Kremen was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch.
