The Regular Season in Higher League is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 4 rounds. The round 33 was rather boring as all games ended with very predictable results.

Leader Musson delivered the twentieth ninth win on Sunday night. This time they crushed 10th ranked Ternopil-TNEU (1-29) 105-55. Musson dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Ternopil-TNEU's 34 and made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Musson forced 22 Ternopil-TNEU turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Ternopil-TNEU helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was center Nikola Eromin (207-85) who scored 25 points. Russian center Dmitri Lipovtsev (207-86) chipped in 19 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was center Sergyi Teleshko (209-92) who recorded 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Ternopil-TNEU's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Musson (29-3) have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. Newly promoted Musson maintains first place. Ternopil-TNEU at the other side stay dead last with 29 lost games. Musson are looking forward to face Khartsyzsk (#3) in Donetsk in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Ternopil-TNEU will play at home against Koksokh-Stal (#8) in Alchevsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Alchevsk was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked VolinBasket (18-14) played at the court of 8th ranked Koksokh-Stal (12-20). VolinBasket managed to secure a 5-point victory 89-84. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Koksokh-Stal. It was a good game for power forward Vadim Reka (206-83) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Anatoli Dubnyuk contributed with 17 points and 7 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) for the winners. point guard Pavlo Haylo (182-87) answered with 27 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for Koksokh-Stal. VolinBasket maintains fourth place with 18-14 record. Koksokh-Stal at the other side dropped to the seventh position with 20 games lost. They share it with Kirovograd. VolinBasket will play against Tornado (#6) in Odessa in the next round. Koksokh-Stal will play on the road against Ternopil-TNEU and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Other games of round 33 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Tornado was defeated by Pulsar in Rovno 89-74. Avantazh-Pol. smashed Kirovograd at home 105-84. BK Kremen lost to Khartsyzsk on the opponent's court 79-85.
The best stats of 33th round was 36 points (!!!) by Timur Arabadzhi of Avantazh-Pol..


Pulsar - Tornado 89-74

Everything could happen in Rovno at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked BC-93 Pulsar and 6th ranked Tornado had identical 15-16 record. This time BC-93 Pulsar used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Odessa 89-74. BC-93 Pulsar made 27-of-29 charity shots (93.1 percent) during the game. It was a good game for guard Ilya Shemosyuk (188-85) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 6 assists. Guard Taras Lipin (185-93) contributed with 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Oleksandr Gudkov (204-90) answered with 10 points and 9 rebounds and guard Sergey Lapenko (196-85) added 15 points and 5 assists in the effort for Tornado. Five Tornado players scored in double figures. Tornado's coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for BC-93 Pulsar. They maintain fifth place with 16-16 record. Tornado lost their third game in a row. They keep the sixth position with 17 games lost. BC-93 Pulsar will play against Kirovograd (#7) on the road in the next round. Tornado will play against VolinBasket in Lutsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Avantazh-Pol. - Kirovograd 105-84

No shocking result in a game in Kharkov where second ranked Avantazh-Politekhnik (28-4) smashed 7th ranked Kirovograd (12-20) 105-84. Avantazh-Politekhnik made 28-of-30 charity shots (93.3 percent) during the game. Kirovograd was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for the former international guard Timur Arabadzhi (192-81) who led his team to a victory with 36 points (!!!) (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Forward Anton Rochnyak (206-91) contributed with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Four Avantazh-Politekhnik players scored in double figures. Center Olexander Osnach (201-90) answered with 21 points and 6 rebounds and guard Maxym Vorobjov (192-91) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for Kirovograd. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the sixteenth consecutive win for Avantazh-Politekhnik. They maintain second place with 28-4 record behind leader Musson. Kirovograd at the other side keeps the seventh position with 20 games lost. They share it with Koksokh-Stal. Avantazh-Politekhnik will play against BK Kremen (#9) in Kremenchuk in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kirovograd will play at home against BC-93 Pulsar in Rovno and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Khartsyzsk - BK Kremen 85-79

Very expected game in Donetsk where 9th ranked BK Kremen (2-28) was defeated by third ranked Khartsyzsk (25-7) 85-79. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Khartsyzsk made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 BK Kremen turnovers. It was a good game for point guard Pavlo Copich (180-86) who led his team to a victory with 30 points and 4 assists. Center Sergei Sabutskyy (208-86, agency: TSS Management) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Khartsyzsk's coach Vladimir Bryaukhavetshy allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Center Gleb Glebov (208-82) answered with 27 points and 7 rebounds and Russian center Igor Chumichev (209-89) added 16 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for BK Kremen. Four BK Kremen players scored in double figures. Khartsyzsk maintains third place with 25-7 record having four points less than leader Musson. BK Kremen lost their eleventh game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 28 games lost. Khartsyzsk will play against league's leader Musson in Symferopil in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BK Kremen will play at home against the league's second-placed Avantazh-Politekhnik (#2) in Kharkov and hopes to get back on the winning track.

VolinBasket forced 19 Koksokh-Stal turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for power forward Vadim Reka (206-83) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists.
