The Regular Season in Superleague is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 4 rounds.

The game in Zaporozhye supposed to be quite interesting. 4th ranked Halychyna (21-14) played at the court of fifth ranked Ferro-ZNTU (22-14). Ferro-ZNTU smashed Halychyna 87-62 on Sunday. The game without a history. Ferro-ZNTU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Ferro-ZNTU outrebounded Halychyna 37-23 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Halychyna's players. The best player for the winners was American forward Cameron Moore (208-90, college: UAB) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. The other American import guard Jeremy Chappell (191-87, college: Robert Morris, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) chipped in 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Serbian power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, agency: Beo Basket) produced 19 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Halychyna's coach Zeljko Lukajic gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Ferro-ZNTU have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Halychyna at the other side dropped to the fifth position with 14 games lost. Ferro-ZNTU will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Halychyna will play at home against Mykolaiv (#9) in Mykolaiv and is hoping to win this game.
Thirteenth-ranked DniproAzot (11-25) made lots of trouble for fifth ranked Khimik (21-13) in Dniprodzerzhynsk. The visitors from Yuzhny managed to secure only three-point victory 75-72. However their fans expected much easier game. Montenegrin-Bosnian swingman Suad Sehovic (196-87) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points and 7 rebounds. Willie Deane contributed with 18 points for the winners. American guard Ronald Davis (190-82, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) replied with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for DniproAzot. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Khimik have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. DniproAzot lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 25 games lost. Khimik will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. DniproAzot will play at home against the league's leader Budivelnyk (#1) in Kyiv and hopes to get back on the winning track.

In the last two games of round 50 Kryvbasbasket defeated BC Odessa in Krivoy Rog 85-76. Cherkasy beat Dnipro at home 83-72.
The best stats of 50th round was 32 points and 6 assists by Darius Adams of Kryvbasbasket.


BC Odessa - Kryvbasbasket 76-85

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 11th ranked BC Odessa's (13-22) home loss to tenth ranked Kryvbasbasket (15-21) 76-85. They made 23-of-28 charity shots (82.1 percent) during the game. Kryvbasbasket outrebounded BC Odessa 44-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. BC Odessa was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American point guard Darius Adams (182-89, college: Indianapolis, agency: Three Eye Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 32 points and 6 assists. The other American import forward Herb Pope (203-89, college: Seton Hall, agency: Three Eye Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Tyrone Brazelton (185-86, college: W.Kentucky) replied with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international Andriy Agafonov (208-86, agency: Interperformances) added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for BC Odessa. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kryvbasbasket maintains tenth position with 15-21 record. BC Odessa at the other side keeps the eleventh place with 22 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Dnipro was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 47-32 second half run of Cherkasy. Denis Ikovlev (201-86, college: Nevada, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Charles Thomas (203-86, college: Arkansas) contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American point guard Derrick Low (188-86, college: Washington St.) replied with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and international power forward Maxym Korniyenko (204-87, agency: Beo Basket) added 17 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Dnipro. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Dnipro's coach Valdemaras Chomicius rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Cherkasy have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place. Dnipro lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 22 games lost. Cherkasy will play against league's second-placed Azovmash in Mariupol in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Dnipro will have a break next round.
