Marko Mugosa (195-F-93) and Vukota Pavic (203-C-93) combined for 52 points against Ukraine at the U20 European Championship. They helped Montenegro to win the game 83:58 in Day 1.
Ukraine led also three times in the opening tip of the game. Trailing 4:6, Montenegro however erupted with a 9-0 run and grabbed 13:4 lead after Vukota Pavics shot. Later Marko Mugosa closed the frame at 18:10 as his team continued their dominance in the rest of the game. Montenegro added 22-21 in the second period and led 9 points at the halftime. Moreover Montenegro won the third quarter 21-12 and finished the game with 22-15 rally.
Marko Mugosa paced all the winners with 30 points and Vukota Pavic nailed 22. Masan Vrbica (190-G-94) delivered 8, while Milija Mikovic (205-C-94) notched 7. Klym Artamonov (183-PG-93), Sergiy Zagreba (213-C-94) and Oleksandr Furs (202-PF-93) brought 10 points each in the losing effort.

Group 3-4 Place Khimik-2 - Krivbas-2 94-81 The game was mostly controlled by Khimik-2. Krivbas-2 managed to win third quarter 26-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game.
